Outside of Pioneer Town, you will take a left on Burns Canyon road and run right into 5:55 will take you up the mountain. Once you get to the top after the red dirt area, you will take the left at the Y, and that will take you down to Baldwin Lake just outside of Big Bear. Cool video, we did this same trip with no snow in Oct. Is there still light snow on the trail now or it melted already?
There was still some snow on the west side of the trail, especially up at the top.

Does pioneer town go to big bear throuh burns canyon?
To get to Burns Canyon which leads to Big Bear you have to go through Pioneertown. Burns Canyon is only couple of minutes away from Pioneertown.
Burns Canyon Road will take you Baldwin Lake, which is just outside of Big Bear.
