I just got a Q2 yesterday. It may not be right for everyone but for me it ticks so many of the right boxes: cost for the quality of lens, IBIS, weather sealed, full frame, high resolution, flexibility of wider 28mm with options to crop if needed, stunning build quality, simple not overly complicated functions, exposure compensation and ISO easily accessible from function keys and dials and the macro mode is the icing in the cake. You should add in the title that people should view at 4k, it makes a huge difference (I was looking at low resolution to start and was just so so, then I switched and wow!)
This is the first time I've seen really beautiful photos taken with this camera. I have seen many reviews on RUclips for this camera, but I have not seen a better one than these pictures. I congratulate you, brother, for this great effort.
thanks! it's the best compliment they've given me, I don't think my photos are anything special but they are the first I take with this camera thinking differently
Thankyou! I think it's a combination of both: I've always liked taking photographs, but the Q2 pushes me, with its quality, its essentiality and its mood, to stop and think, and compose, taking its time. it's a quality all its own and for me it meant a different way of photographing
This is the EXACTLY! video I was looking for! The other videos reviews no offense, just show me what this camera can do! Without commentary! This photos are amazing!! Now I see the camera is worth it!! And thank you for showing, you did amazing work! 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Beautiful photos. The Aqua and burnt orange colours remind me of the Classic Chrome film simulation of the Fujifilm system although a more vivid rendition. Does the Leica Q2 have similar film simulation? THanks for how you put this together, it was very enjoyable. NZ
Honestly just so much more useful than reviews. Reviewers are rarely photographers. They may take photos and even do it for a living... but this video is artwork. That's where I see what a camera can really do. I've been loving my little A7c + 35/2.8 for street photography... but for some reason the Leica has come knocking ha. Are some of these shot with the in-camera 50mm crop mode?
thankyou! I'm in hate/love with the 28mm focal length: I think that is literally perfect for some works, and at the same time I dream for a longer focal in sometimes, (for work I use also a A7RIII with a 50 GM 1.2 and 85 Sigma 1.4 Art) but I think that if exist a Q2 with a 50mm it can be less versatile and it can not be an everyday or all-use camera, so I think that this 28mm is at the same time the perfect and only possibile lens for this camera and a compromise for other works. If you travel it is the perfect camera. If you make shooting portraits it can be used for particular works. I use it also for wedding reportages and I love it at all, in next days if you want I can post a video only for wedding reportages shots with this camera :) About the size: for me is literally perfect, is balanced and it has the perfect grip (buy the finger holder is perfect)
the answer is: it worth the cost for your use? For me (I paid it used € 3900 one year ago in an authorized shop online with official warranty) it was a game changer, I LOVE this camera and it worth every cent ;)
Wow, what a beautiful photos. You have been to a lot of nice places the last 6 month. How is your experience with 28 mm? Do you sometimes wanted a wider or narrower lens? A 5:32 I saw a portrait on the left side of the picture. I could not see any distortion. I always thought 28mm is too wide for portraits, but this one looks perfect.
Thankyou! The 28mm initiallly is a lens that I dont understand: too sode for me, but after a little of pratice I have realized that is the Perfect lens for this camera: you can make all and surprisely also portraits with a little bit of attention. This lens force you to compose and think and the superior quality (the corrected perfectly distortion and the incredibile sharpness or the beautiful bokeh) make it the one lens only camera. Initially I was thinking to want a 35 or 50mm over this, but now I thhink that this lens is Perfect. Also, the 28mm is Wide for portraits but THIS has a little of magic and you can use for it! Also in my shots I have not use the crop mode but I think that I will start to do it because you can have also beautiful portraits with the crop If you want and ignore the “integralism” of think that you have always to use the full sensor. Is a compromise but this camera learn to you that the first rule is to think to the subject and not technicisms. i love it for that
@@francesco.zambotti Thanks for your reply Francesco. I am a Fuji shooter, but recently got interested in the Ricoh GR III as an alway-take-with-you camera. There is a Ricoh 28mm version and a 40mm version. 40mm will give a nicer compression for portrait, but still the 28mm is appealing to me. When I like it, maybe the next step is a Q2 in the far future.
Holy shit, so many amazing photos. The camera definitely is being put to good use by you. Based on your video I'm assuming you have been shooting a while. What cameras did you mainly shoot with prior to the Q2?
Thankyou! For work I use also a Sony A7r3 with a summilux M 50 f1.4 and a Sigma art 85 f1.4 DG DN, but for passion and everyday camera the Q2 is my favorite :)
Because you can’t wear a mask and use a camera at the same time 😅. But seriously, I own the Q2 and Q2M and they’re my go to cameras. The both live in a Ona Bowery, ready to go.

+1 to what Ahmed said. You have a beautiful collection of photos.
Hm, so the camera does not matter? I'm relieved...
Yeah it’s unfortunate, this camera is capable of taking great photos but most photo libraries of the q2 are plain and unimaginative.
You have an excellent tool, but it's you that makes it work. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for sharing this astonishing piece of work.
Without question the best selection of images taken with the Q2 I've seen on RUclips. Many congratulations!
Thankyou!!
Absolutely Beautiful !!
A remarkable collection, nice work!
Fantastic photography.....
Enough said!! You’re photos alone are good enough to convince me to consider this camera! Outstanding!
thankyou!!
Yep, I want one too. Thanks for sharing
Enjoyed the diversity and artistry of your shots - you and the Q2 are a good combination.

Stunning photographs. I'm speechless. I hope I can learn to take photographs like this.
Bellissime foto della nostra Italia fatte con la nostra costosissima Q2. Ti ringrazio, saluti dalla California.

excellent material .. one question .. the photo of the rocks with the water .. remember what exposure and diaphragm I used
