Just got this diagnosis. The pulmonologist I go to seems to not know what to do. He said he doesn’t want to go the steroid route yet but wants to see me again in February and to have another test done to see whatever. I honestly think he has no idea what to do and just blew me off til later. So I will definitely be coming to see you guys. Thanks so much for the video and info. I couldn’t believe my luck to come across this.
I was diagnosed in 2018 with PS … ended up seeing Dr Gupta in 2022-23 … I was progressively getting worse and have scaring … June of 2023 I began a carnivore/ketogenic diet and by September I began weening myself off of my Trelogy Elipta inhaled and haven’t looked back . Eliminate all sugar and processed foods ! I generally have no symptoms now .
I can't tell you how happy I was to find this. Your story is so similar to mine and so are your thoughts. I cried seeing someone feel and understand things the same as myself. Like you I first noticed a huge shortness of breath in 2008. I was so short of breath I felt my legs almost leave me. Diagnosed in 2012. I feel the same insecurity you mentioned about walking. I feel that when possibly having to give presentations at work. It actually held me back from going for positions I knew I was super qualified for because I didn't know if my body would fail me should I have to travel. Will I have to walk far when I go to another location? Things others take for granted but it's so hard for me. Going certain places and seeing you have to go up stairs would give me severe anxiety because I knew by the time I got to the top I was going to feel like passing out. Planning to do things and changing my mind because I thought I was up to it until it came time to do it. I could go on and on but I want to say I'm dealing with it as best as possible and have learned to listen to my body. When you spoke of calming yourself down...I know that so well but again, is not something others can understand if they don't have this. I thank you so much because I tell people all the time how content I am to just sit in my room and watch television or read a book. I do force myself to get up because as you said, I do not want to isolate too long. I am married and have two children and thankfully they are all fully aware and super understanding. I just wish I had more energy but when I do have a good day, I take full advantage and enjoy it. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you..
Very nice discussion! Hats off to you, Channel, for addressing sarcoidosis with such clarity! 🎩 As someone who saw a dear friend struggle with this condition, I'm grateful for the positive impact Planet Ayurveda's supplements had on their health journey. Let's empower more individuals to explore these natural solutions!
Thank you so much for the good information. We have Sarcoidosis UK which I am a member of which gives good advice. It would be good to have you both on board. What do you think?
