Right on i know them straps had instructions however i use to tow cars back in the day and my boss told me to strap the car down long ways front to back not on the side because the car ant going to move side to side but back and forth in accident nothing wrong with the way you did it tho

Thanks for the comment, i ended up adding straps front and rear from the axles to the trailer just for extra securoty, A guy i work with hauls cars for dealerships on the weekends and he uses the straps like i had setup on the trailer on his fifth wheel car hauler set up and said basically if you have a significant wreck the vehicles coming off that trailer, the straps regardless of how its tied down just keep the vehicle from moving on the trailer when going down the road, concrete joints, pot holes, road construction etc. I made the 1600 miles to colorado and the jeep didnt move at all and the straps stayed tight so I was happy, I hear what your saying though. Thanks for the video. How wide is your Jeep? I have a Rubicon Xtreme Recon which also has 35in tires. My exact dimensions 79.3 inches wide. Do you think that will fit?

Hey thank you for checking out the video, i was setting almost 80 inches the side walls were touching the rails of the trailer but it fit and made it 1700 miles across the country with no issues. I did inflate the tires to the max cold psi the shrink the width ever so slightly but yes you will fit!
