There really isn't a specific way to beat the trainer as the positions of balloons vary every attempt. In general, my advice would be to focus on dodging the birds and somewhat predict when they will be coming at you. If you can do this, you will also be able to grab the balloons. Also remember that there are times it's better to miss out a balloon rather than getting hit by birds multiple times. I hope this helps!
@@KindredCVS oh no doubt. When I was trying it for my first time I just couldn't do it. If you clear your name, say on a holy mountain after killing a villain the 3rd time. Waiting will ruin your game in some cases... dark aeons are no joke!
What crest did you get? Saturn? Take note that it might differ depending on the region of the game that you are playing, but will still be the equivalent upgrade for the stated celestial weapon.

If you are unable to fully power-up Tidus's ultimate weapon because you missed getting the Sun Crest the first time (and now you have to fight Dark Bahamut first), you can still use other characters such as Wakka. Before taking them on, it is highly advisable to max some of the characters stats first. Or you can go the cheap route by using Yojimbo's Zanmato, but you will need a lot of gil for it.

Don't know if I'll get a response but I hope so, anyway, I did both minigames and i got some healing thing not the sigil... what gives? I did everything as shown and beat it with seconds to spare so i don't understand why its not giving me the sigil...
Edit: I've done the minigame three times now and its just giving me an empty chest. Really getting discouraged..
Hello! If I may ask, what is the mini-game you are referring to? Is it the one in Macalania Woods, or the Chocobo Catcher in Calm Lands?
@@KindredCVS the butterfly one. I just got to the calm lands and got the sigil from the chocobo race so I went back to get the butterfly game one but I just get empty chests :(
@@wowdude4377 Do you already have the Airship? The Sigil will only be available as a prize after the events in Zanarkand Ruins.
If you already have the airship, then make sure that you are clearing the mini-game in 2 areas. One takes place at Central, while the other one is at North of the woods.
@@KindredCVS Ah, that would probably be why. I haven't made it to Zanarkand yet. So I'll have to come back once I get the airship. Thank you very much for the reply I really appreciate the help! :)
@@wowdude4377 Happy to help! :)
Why i can not do chocobos mini race at tample -,- ?.I already beat all of the mini games in training chocobos.
There's a sphere near the chocobo at the west. Try interacting with that first, then to the chocobo near it. Then head east and try to ride the chocobo.
Thnks sir
There’s a lady in the way idk how to get her out of the way she’s standing where I’m supposed to see the kid
At what part of the game are you on at the moment?
Go and talk to the parents again until they start talking about their son being lost - then the lady leaves
OK so um the woman that was blocking the path to the celestial mirror didn't move, what is going on
apparently she resets if you leave the zone, so we both have to do it again!
nvm, you just have to race and then quit and then you can walk down there
How did you beat the chocobo race to get the sigil?
2:30 he gives an explanation for Tidus weapon then proceeds to show the race against the Trainor. More or less just keep trying because I can agree it sucked lol
Edit: 3:35 for a more precise timestamp for the chocobo race
There really isn't a specific way to beat the trainer as the positions of balloons vary every attempt. In general, my advice would be to focus on dodging the birds and somewhat predict when they will be coming at you. If you can do this, you will also be able to grab the balloons. Also remember that there are times it's better to miss out a balloon rather than getting hit by birds multiple times.
I hope this helps!
@@KindredCVS oh no doubt. When I was trying it for my first time I just couldn't do it. Without using you're advice I suppose my best "added" advice would be to just keep trying if it's irritating you then just take about a 30 - 1 hour break.
It's not the worst minigame. It's pretty close but its not as bad as it could have been. I've heard people didn't get it at 0:0.0 and they had to get a negative time. Read that and thought oh great that's lovely to know 😂
Practice capturing balloons 🎈 use the directional buttons not analog sticks you need to get 14 to 15 balloons with at least 0 bird hits or at least 1 bird hit.

I've played this game for like 15+ years, and this guy's guide gives you the best technique to give the most consistent results 👍🏽 hope it helps, this mini game really is whack
1:00 - 2:30, 3:00 (3:40), 5:00 (5:20), 6:00 (7:00), (8:40), (9:50 - 11:00), (11:50), 15:40 (16:20)
Can be acquired before the top of Mt. Gagazet/acquiring the airship. (And all 4 Auron's/Wakka's overdrives)
**The path to Guadosalom (and before) is blocked because of story reasons (you filthy traitor!) If you clear your name, say on a holy mountain after killing a villain the 3rd time. (Groan!), the path to the airship will open and after talking to Mika in Bevelle (all other items).**
16:35 this is not true... the amount of times you "can" play this game 3+ (mp sphere, ether, megalixir x2, elixir x2, teleport spheres, saturn sigil) but the last time is "locked" behind story events (airship required)... so get to work you slacker. Waiting will ruin your game in some cases... dark aeons are no joke!
The Mars crest wasn’t in that chest when I opened it
What crest did you get? Saturn? Take note that it might differ depending on the region of the game that you are playing, but will still be the equivalent upgrade for the stated celestial weapon.
KindredCVS oh ok thanks
If you absolutely suck at blitz ball, Wakkas celestial weapon is the hardest to get. Because I mean you're either good at blitz ball or you're not.
Please I need help! I don’t even have Anima 😭
Where do you need help in particular?
0.0 chocobo race
thanks
You're welcome!
RIP if you dont get the sun crest after you fought yunalesca
😂😂😂😂😂
Gotta Zanmato your way then lol
@@KindredCVS Yojimbo, the life saver for the newbie
😁😁😁😁
@@kazumi1315 FACTS lol. Also used him a bunch of times the first time I played FFX International in PS2.
Literally me
I only have wakka's complete celestial weapon because blitzball is easy.
Dude the chocobo in the ruins doesn't let me ride him, why??
Talk/Interact to the chocobo located at the west of that chocobo first.
@@KindredCVS it still doesn't let me...
@@TestSubject375 I can't check right now, but there might be s sphere near the chocobo at the west. Try interacting with that first, then to the chocobo near it. Then head east and try to ride the chocobo.
@@KindredCVS I did that and it worked, sorry for the inconvenience and thank you!!
I can barely do any of these bc of the dark aeons now
If you are unable to fully power-up Tidus's ultimate weapon because you missed getting the Sun Crest the first time (and now you have to fight Dark Bahamut first), you can still use other characters such as Wakka. Before taking them on, it is highly advisable to max some of the characters stats first. Or you can go the cheap route by using Yojimbo's Zanmato, but you will need a lot of gil for it.
I killed dark bahamut with yojimbo last week to fet the sun crest I forgot. I copied someone on you tube. Grand summon. Gave him only 2k.
meh I think ill just beat the game these challenges are more annoying than fun
Dark bahamut protect door to get sun crest. How? 😂
Can either leave it until you've maxed out your party's stats, or you can use Yojimbo to insta-kill Dark Bahamut with Zanmato.
am i the only one that heard "to get lulu's onion ring"
cool
Bro why are the side quests in FFX sooooo tedious ? 🤣
Just got a1
👍
You only need defeat one try again he will move
Fucking catcher chocobo is trash. Worst mini game of all time. I’d rather dodge 500 lightning bolts than play that awful shit ass game again.
Every good hard game shadows die twice nioh demon souls have a very hard but satisfying learning curve. Trying to learn how to operate this drunk chicken has done nothing but have me wishing testicular cancer on its developers. I give FFX 0/10 would not recommend
Playing blitzball to get the Jupiter signal for wakka is so tedious 😴
