Hello, Ladies. They used to make ketchup out of lots of different things. They have made it out of egg whites, grapes, pudding, pickled mango, orange juice, onions, lobster, cranberries, apples, liver, oysters, fish, elderberries, and mushrooms -- among other things.
Hi ladies. I'm so surprised that you both went out of your way to actually try this product from my home country which is the Philippines. Filipinos use this product in the preparation of Filipino style spaghetti. The use of cut up hot dogs to the traditional sauce recipe. Glad to see that you both enjoyed it! Great job on the video as always ladies! Have a fantastic weekend, my lovely friend s and be well! Always enjoy your channel. 👋😎❤️❤️🌹🌹🇺🇸🇵🇭
I'm a diabetic, also. And, I too, pondered the sugars & carbs of each. Then I realized there is probably way less of a single banana in the amount of "banana ketchup" one might use as a condiment than that of the amount of tomato one might have in a salad.
I did find a Fila Manilla boozy pineapple rum sauce. Maybe you should try that next, if you aren't allergic to pineapple. I plan to, after I get moved and settled into a new apartment.
@@neeleyfolk They even did two videos with Townsends. One was a cooking episode in the Townsends rustic kitchen. And there's also a behind the scenes at Townsends - Spoiler alert - the fourth wall gets broken!
I know! So bummed! But it was seriously good. Hopefully a different brand is just as good. (If you get a differnt brand let us know.... I might order some too)
I am a food purist. I eat my hotdog with mustard only. Baked potatoes with butter, salt and pepper. My pizza does not have pineapple. So when I first heard about this banana ketchup I was ready to drop the puritanical hammer and rally the believers against this heretical abomination… but then Tara explained the history of it which puts me in an odd position of questioning my piety. Nope… I’m still right. Stunt foods are silly…

I wonder how to make banana ketchup? I've never seen a recipe.
Sadly, Amazon is sold out. I'll have to try a different brand.
