I live in Kashmir, A very small state in India where being gay is frowned upon. I am not gay, but I would still marry you. Because you are awesome and you made me love chemistry after scaring away from it from literally a decade.
No explanation given for why the nitrogen has a positive charge? It doesnt matter if it uses two of it's electrons to bond with the carbon, they are still both shared with the nitrogen. Add the other bonds and it has 8 electrons around it, a full valence shell.

What about Bromine in final? Where did it go? Should it form ethylammoniumbromide ?

,I had great problem with amines naming before, and this video help me me.thanks a lot.
Thank you sal for such great videos!! But please add more mechanism of amines synthesis
Sal, isn't that the bromide anion attacks the hydrogen on the positive charged nitrogen forming hydrogen bromide?
What program do you use to draw in :-)?
none other than Sal, I fell in love with organic concepts
thx for the vid, its always nice to learn chemistry :)
thank you so much!
Thank you Sal :)
Thanks❤
Thank you!
