I recently started a journal for my pets (especially my dog) as well as my own journal. My friends thought I was going crazy when I said it but it's extremely helpful! I'm very forgetful and loose track of things basically a day after they happen. Tracking my pets walks, their feedings, any medication and vet visits, etc. has been incredibly useful and I've only been doing it for 3 weeks or so!

I have additional spreads in mine consisting of: a period tracker/car maintenance/new restaurants I've tried/movies i watch(in theaters)/books i read/school calendar/wishlist/etc....

Just a thought.. you should put a permanent grid guide in your journals so people don’t have to write/draw them in every time they buy one of your journals. I think this would help a lot!
