  • Having felt a little blue recently, an invite to Canada was the perfect way to cheer me up. I flew from Newcastle to Calgary to indulge in some landscape photography with a group of friends and fellow photographers. This is day one of my trip where we photographed Lake Abraham in the Rockies.

A quick FYI for methane bubbles. Take a cup of warm water and throw it over the ice, it takes some of the cloudy problem away and adds some reflections. We have had some amazing shots that didn't turn out as nice as we expected until we did the water trick. The other trick is Beavertail Snowshoes, they take some getting used to but a lot less sinking in the snow LOL. I am so glad that you guys had such an amazing trip to one little corner of our amazing Canadian Rockies.
