Back .. What a jumper Ed 🙌 Thank you for 2024 and am sure all so excited for 2025 😁 Appreciate all you have done, and continue to do, plus wish well on the house move for Charlie and yourself 🙏
Itd be amazing if you could do one of these for every block for a season. Also i cant comprehend how you can ride for hours and hours in the british winter without full mudguards. Dont you get bored of being drenched? Lol
I had a rear mudguard here, front mudguard not really needed with Spatz overshoes. It's hard doing big mileage in the British winter. I'll do more update videos in a month or so.
Hey Ed, great vid! I've been thinking, if I ride 8-10hrs a week on average (for about 3 years), would a week of big volume say 20 hrs make a difference to my physiology? Thanks!
Simple answer, yes. Most of the people I work with can only train around 10hours, but whenever they go away on a cycling holiday or have time off work it's an ideal time to add volume.
Depends on the symptoms. If it's just a cold, I will still ride, depending on how rough I feel. If it's a cough/fever/sickness I won't ride again until I'm 100%. Missing training is hard though, especially long periods, and this can really set training back.
Would you believe it, this video took nearly a whole month to put together🤣😅
😂 no shortcuts
Nice Video Ed, really enjoy the detailed training stuff. Would be interesting to see how your CTL Fitness numbers change over the year or over 2024.
I will keep updating you all!
Thank you Ed for your efforts with videos and for passing knowledge to us!
Pleasure!

I like to do my zone 2 sessions as zone 2 efforts to break up the ride
How do you deal with falling ill while trying to build up the indurance?
