I don't generally enjoy your content or share the same opinions with you guys regarding cards or the game BUT I MUST SAY it's a shock you're still only at 100k. You definitely deserve more, your effort is huge compared to other big content creators like The Commanders Quarters with Mitch reacting for 10 minutes to a single card.
Bruh I fell of commanders quarters a long time ago like he doesn’t even talk about budget stuff lmao
@Rey Chavarria I agree. Commanders quarters fell off hard. And at no fault of his own, I mean you can only make so many decks (that people actually find interesting at least) so it makes sense to look at upcoming cards and give your opinions, but like you said he just goes on way too long
To be completely fair, it takes a TON of effort to fake excitement for every card.
@@Dools1217 he had a ton of options to branch off with for his channel, he could do his break the bank series for every commander to start. Suggest budget upgrades for precons, occasionally make a deck tech, show some of his games and even play with the audience, talk about proxies and such to help make the decks more affordable, which stables he would splurge on so that he CAN proxy them into his decks. I mean what's the difference between buying a $1 card 10 times for 10 decks compared to buying 1 $10 card to proxy into 10 decks.
I say all this to illustrate that he got lost in the popularity and let it go to his head so he thought he was the shit and the forefront for magic. Evident when he tried to create a new format over a rules disagreement with the rc. And he views his channel as a money mine rather than something he uses to contribute to the community with. Which is why we see 10 min videos for every spoiled card, bc he's trying to game the RUclips algorithm.

The math for the Wyll Delina combo works out in a pretty interesting way. The odds of failing on the first roll is 56.25% (1- (3/4)^2), the odds of failing on the second roll (given the first one succeeds) is about 42%, then 32%, and the odds of failure fall off from there. You have a 7.3% chance of getting to 10 Wylls, at which point you'll have above a 95% chance on every subsequent roll, and about a 6.2% chance of hitting escape velocity and going "infinite" (chance of failure get truly insignificant at around 20-25 Wylls).

31:14 Um actually, Ancient Silver Dragons in Dungeons and Dragons 5 edition have a +7 bonus to stealth checks which is very high amount. They can also polymorph into a humanoid which could allow them to hide better. If Toxrill stays completely still, maybe someone will accidentally walk into it. Your deck makes 100% sense canonically, Joe Cherries.

With just a Delina and a Wyll, you have about a 14% chance to pop off. About half the time you'll whiff on the first roll. By the time you get to 15 it's one in two hundred chance of whiffing, and by 38 it's around one in a million.
At each step, the chance of whiffing is (7/10)^(number of Wylls + 1), so the chance of not whiffing is 1 - (7/10)^(number of Wylls + 1). To get to a given number you have to have not whiffed on all the previous ones, and they're independent rolls so you just multiply them all together.
I'm so glad you said you guys don't enjoy infinites, i've always disliked infinites as they're boring and as you play your deck you always try and go for the infinite essentially ignoring the rest of your deck. Also congrats on the 100K, been subscribed for a year and always enjoy the content
Even if you say a deck is "Terrible" but as long as you enjoy and love it the purpose is fulfilled. That's why I don't really invest in CEDH decks bcoz it doesn't need the deck to be too powerful to be fun. The most wacky and bizzare strategies in MTG is what makes the game unique and awesome. While it's true that competitive magic makes MTG also go forward in terms of company stability but MTG being a collectible card game is not all about competition. EDH got popular from it being originally a casual format but nowadays the term "casual" is loosely used also as competitive which I don't like. I've got almost 60 decks now bcoz I can't really dismantle a deck specially when most of them are a decade old and you put your mind and soul to it so you can't part with it.

Congrats on 100K! You guys and DJ are the only mtg content creators of note that have double digit decks. So many feel like 3-7 is plenty but I could never have that few. That doesn't come close to covering all the color combos out there. I want a deck of every strat and every color. Building decks is almost as fun as playing them imo. I get bored with a deck after playing it several times so I need a new one at least every few weeks and then I can go back and refab older ones with new concepts and cards. Best hobby on Earth imo

It’s funny that the decks y’all can’t play basically combine into my favorite deck. Sek’Kuar Shamanic Council is so fun with all the great shamans, Living Death, Bolas’ Citadel. Everything from the graveyard just rises up!

Ninjitsu is about the element of surprise but the Ancient Silver Dragon isn't what is sneaking up on anyone. The tiny attackers are what an opponent sees and then suddenly it becomes a giant dragon. Picture a serf shuffling through the market with a hood on and looking frail and old. Then suddenly springing into action and taking out the unsuspecting guards that allowed this feeble peasant to get too close. That is what is happening every time you ninjitsu a creature. I thought this was very obvious but here we are lol

Little DnD trivia for ya, Ancient Silver Dragons actually have the ability to shapechange! So oddly, Silver Dragons very much could change into a ninja and would be very well equipped to sneak up on people. They certainly earn their title as an "imposter ninja"! Great video as always.

I was like Beezy in that I could never find a spellslinger deck that I liked but finally I decided to build Arjun, The Shifting Flame and I have never had so much fun with red and blue. I absolutely love getting 10 puzzle box effects in a single turn and killing everyone with a Psychosis Crawler or milling everyone with Teferi's Tutelage.

The Delina/Wyll odds are 14%, or about 1 in 7 that you end up rolling enough dice to basically always succeed on the copy roll. I can't link the Reddit thread, someone smarter than me did the math on that. I still can't believe they put that combo in AFR limited. Congrats on 100k!

If you guys take suggestions for decks, I'd recommend a Hama Pashar dungeon etb deck. It's surprisingly fun to try and control the game via tokens and goading.
Also an Osgir deck resolving around Sunforger as a "secret commander". You can have more than just one Sunforger via Pull of Eternity, and reuse your instants with Mistveil Plains which is tutoreable with Tithe. I like to roleplay it as the hammer being sentient as the helmet of Dr Fate, and being the actual powerful entity, with Osgir just being the most convenient host for being able to reproduce the hammer and recover it.
