Everyone in trucking is upset about it. Unions are greedy and they want 77% wage increase. Meanwhile, trucking companies are offered $1.50 per mile and are shutting down left and right The inflation is already high and this will increase the consumer prices even more. Should we all be singing while the overpaid union workers with minimal work are shutting down the economy?
Don't bash union workers. Unions are responsible for 8 hr work day, coffee/ lunch breaks, unions enable working people to make a decent wage. Everyone should make a decent wage. The gap between rich and poor is extreme. This is more division between people.

Don't blame the union. A strike is a last case scenario. And they could be ordered back to work, no? Clearly an essential service.
