PassCode are an alt-idol group. Where they are fronted by idols, but play with a band live kind of like Babymetal. Unlike Babymetal though the band for PassCode are considered as one. They record the music, choose setlists etc. Thank you for highlighting them though. One of the most underrated bands on the scene in my opinion and don't get anywhere near the love they deserve. If you want to check out more then just prepare yourself. Their discography is a wild ride 😀

PassCode is a group with a backing band that accompanies them to live shows. Nao Minami, Kaede Takashima, Hinako Ogami and currently Emiri Arima (Yuna the girl who screams in this MV has left the group and Emiri has taken her place as the new screamer) they Just sing a dance. they mix EDM, electrocore, post-hc and loud music is a combination that worked very well haha

Kent (guitar), Yoichi (guitar), Tashihiro (bass), and Kid'z (drums) do more than just tour with PassCode they also arrange and record the songs. Sure they don't really do any promotion for the band but they are a vital component none the less.
They are kind of like Babymetal in the fact that the instrumentalists don't do much promotion but they are closer to a regular band than an idol group at this point. The similarity is the fact that the vocalists are the main focus and they sing and dance during lives. The big difference is that the instrumentalists also arrange and record the songs not just play them live.
This song is actually on the heavy side for the amount of harsh vocals in it. The majority of the time Yuna would be doing backing harsh vocals or little punctuations within a song.
Love PassCode, at first listen youtube list of BandMaid, yt put some videos in the mix and I skip them, later one day my brain made the quantum jump to PassCode awesomeness! great reaction! Take a look to their lives "trace" "brand new era" "Tonigth"
PassCode are best appreciated live, but you will have to indulge privately. They employ Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas' format of three songs in one. You could try their cover of Bring Me The Horizon's; "Mantra".

Love this band... in small doses. Most of their vocals sound the same to me, so after a while it feels like you're listening to AC/DC and are like "didn't I just hear this song?". This is an absolute banger though, probably in my top 10 J-Metal songs. Good react though, liked the explanations of things I didn't even know were going on.

Idol group with a backing band, similar to BABYMETAL although I think the band is a more defined unit rather than a set of interchangeable musicians. Sound design is excellent, but they brick-walled the mastering a bit too much on this album, so it can be tough on the ears. That said, I like it a lot, particularly this track. I suspect they are using Auto-Tune or similar for the melodic vocals, but it is a deliberate attempt to get a Vocoder effect. Always interesting to see some people have negative reactions to it when it's used by an idol group, but not when its used by a progressive metal band: ruclips.net/video/abKBYZX_1sM/видео.html Fair warning - there are several Gacharic Spin tracks that use a lot of vocoder-style effects.
