Central Alberta, first frost last night, garden is almost all in except potatoes and beets. Lots of canning done and more to do. We are farmers and love the land. Great video, like the family working together, that is how we grew. Blessings

Wow, first frost...we know what is next!
Great job. We are starting to harvest our potatoes.
My favorite so far is the Cal White
They are wonderful huge white baking potatoes... great yield too.

I love watching people get ready for winter. I have lived in Bali for 35 years and we only have two seasons really. Wet and dry. Our monsoon starts about the same time as your winter. Last year it was Oct 17. It rained for 7 months. I was off grid in a tent. I have the roof on my wooden house and have now moved into it before the rain and will finish up whilst living in it. I do miss seasons though, and thank you for sharing yours. ❤

The power of family. Love the way you all work together. I live in Florida and we are recovering from hurricane Helene where are home took 3 feet of storm surge. My crew and all of my family came together to help, what a blessing. I own a construction company so I am very lucky in that regard. We will be out to help as many people as we can. Thoughts and prayers to the many thousands of people who are suffering. Thanks for the diversion.

Just met your family tonight! Loved you all and your very unpretentious videos! It was so enjoyable to see what you have to do on a daily basis to get ready for winter. Watching the kids get along with each other, and pitch right in, working as hard as the adults. Your lifestyle is one that I love, but know I could never do it. So I took the next best step and subscribed to you after that first video! Can’t wait till part two!

Haven’t had a really cold winter with heavy snow here in England for a few years now , recently our winters seem to be wet and mild , last year I think we had one night of frost all winter .
