Eazy E or 2pac is tough but im going with Eazy E. He one of the fathers of this gangsta rap shit.
He didn't even write his own stuff though. I never got the appeal of Easy E. He was basically just a face for the group that had no actual rap talent.
@thefearofg0ds758 He started writing his shit later. It was never about him writing his own shit. It was his delivery that was impactful to Westcoast gangsta shit. Eazy laid the foundation in 1987-88 before 2pac. He was one the fish along with Ice T on this Westcoast gangsta shit and was from Compton. 2pac came later in the 90s and became the voice for the Westcoast. If there no Eazy E there is no Snoop Dogg or 2pac or any of these other guys like Nipsey Hustle. You guys became prisoners of the moment before understanding who laid the foundation for shit. If it wasn't for the Godfather niggas wouldn't be able to do what they do today for this Westcoast shit.
@thefearofg0ds758 If it wasn't for Eazy E we wouldn't have Bone Thugs.
