    This might be the funniest video I’ve ever seen! He had the nerve to bring the ball up AND call plays…knowing good and damn well he was about to pull up! 😂😂😂

    Best High School Basketball player to ever come from Mississippi. He was simply electric. Each time he shot the ball is was going in, he was so quick off the dribble.

      He was my guy he was a bad boy but dont forget MR Green. Litterial Green avg'd 39.3 12 rpg and 9.5 apg Georgia's all time points leader (over 2000)he was pretty good..

    I remember being at this game with my middle school coach. Still remember him telling me to remember that night because players like him come along once in a life time. This took place in Lake Charles,la at the Popyes Classic. One of the top tournaments in the south at that time.

    C.J. played in an AAU tourney that our team from B'ham, Al played in Atlanta..he went off on some team from Richmond Va...dropped 68 on them..and I mean it was as effortless as it was entertaining..and it was a barrage of 3pt shots and double tap quick between the leg dribbles and that nanosecond release...and that performance created such a buzz around that tournament until every team that wasn't playing a game at the time Chris' team played was flocking to see him play...and the college coaches were their in masses.. I played against Kenny Anderson...but watching CJ was much much better...kids and grown ups were all over this guy...wanting autographs and pics..and what I remember most is how gracious and accommodating he was..extremely humble guy..#CJ35GOAT

    It's funny watching him come down the court and calling a play. His teammates must be thinking "ya we got it, iso for you at the top of the key. We'll get out of the way for you again."

    Being from Biloxi, I was fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to watch him play back in high school. Back when he was in the NBA, he used to spend the off seasons playing pick up games at local high school gyms with all the young players from the area. I've played against him, as well as with him, a few times and he was always a class act. One of the most humble people you'll ever meet and was always quick to help you with your game. I saw him a while back at local fitness club and he's still the same, except for the fact that he's in MUCH better shape these days.

    • @BLXDTX
      @BLXDTX 10 лет назад +1

      ***** He's originally from Gulfport, Mississippi, which is next to Biloxi. It's been a while since I've seen him around town. Not sure where he lives these days.

      ***** I watched him play about a dozen times when he was in high school and EVERY time out he played like this. He was definitely that good. He is about 6'0" tall.

    I remember when he came to LSU. I mean this guy played like an NBA player as a freshman. Probably the only player that I would get excited about on the college level. Not a lot of pro players could do what he could do. Ashamed what the NBA did to his career.

    The most underrated and forgotten player of an either generation. Such a shame what they did to him. Without the “drama” he was a first ballot HOF’er... Long live the king of the Scoring PG’s; the Steph Curry before Steph.

    I saw Chris get doubled teamed, box and 1, diamond and two(two players guarding him and the other three in a zone) and it didn't matter! One word describes him in High School and at LSU. Unstoppable! And that's with a capital U!

      He gave Stockton all of those 55 against Utah plus his Nuggets was one of the teams that beat the 72-10 Bulls. He had Turrets Syndrome and overcame that.

    I was at this game, it was at St Louis Catholic invitational in Lake Charles,La against Washington Marion High School. Dude went off, the video doesnt do it justice, greatest performance by a high school player ive ever seen. Washington Marion won the Louisiana High School state 3A championship that year if I'm not mistaken, and 2 or 3 of the players were Div 1 signees so its not like Chris did it against some weak scrubs

    During the LSU vs. Georgetown game down at LSU, they were struggling with that GU defense. Dale Brown looked at him and said, "Chris take over the damn game" and he did. If you are a basketball purist and you want to show your kid how to attack an opponent on the offensive end....find his videos.
