This might be the funniest video I’ve ever seen! He had the nerve to bring the ball up AND call plays…knowing good and damn well he was about to pull up! 😂😂😂
Best High School Basketball player to ever come from Mississippi. He was simply electric. Each time he shot the ball is was going in, he was so quick off the dribble.
He was my guy he was a bad boy but dont forget MR Green. Litterial Green avg'd 39.3 12 rpg and 9.5 apg Georgia's all time points leader (over 2000)he was pretty good..
I remember being at this game with my middle school coach. Still remember him telling me to remember that night because players like him come along once in a life time. This took place in Lake Charles,la at the Popyes Classic. One of the top tournaments in the south at that time.
C.J. played in an AAU tourney that our team from B'ham, Al played in Atlanta..he went off on some team from Richmond Va...dropped 68 on them..and I mean it was as effortless as it was entertaining..and it was a barrage of 3pt shots and double tap quick between the leg dribbles and that nanosecond release...and that performance created such a buzz around that tournament until every team that wasn't playing a game at the time Chris' team played was flocking to see him play...and the college coaches were their in masses.. I played against Kenny Anderson...but watching CJ was much much better...kids and grown ups were all over this guy...wanting autographs and pics..and what I remember most is how gracious and accommodating he was..extremely humble guy..#CJ35GOAT
Bro kenny was nice to chris was a junior at LSU and kenny a freshmen at Gtech going head to head thats when bball was gooood and its funny chris was the number 1 guy at LSU when shaq and Robertson was there
It's funny watching him come down the court and calling a play. His teammates must be thinking "ya we got it, iso for you at the top of the key. We'll get out of the way for you again."
Being from Biloxi, I was fortunate enough to have had the opportunity to watch him play back in high school. Back when he was in the NBA, he used to spend the off seasons playing pick up games at local high school gyms with all the young players from the area. I've played against him, as well as with him, a few times and he was always a class act. One of the most humble people you'll ever meet and was always quick to help you with your game. I saw him a while back at local fitness club and he's still the same, except for the fact that he's in MUCH better shape these days.
***** He's originally from Gulfport, Mississippi, which is next to Biloxi. It's been a while since I've seen him around town. Not sure where he lives these days.
***** I watched him play about a dozen times when he was in high school and EVERY time out he played like this. He was definitely that good. He is about 6'0" tall.
I remember when he came to LSU. I mean this guy played like an NBA player as a freshman. Probably the only player that I would get excited about on the college level. Not a lot of pro players could do what he could do. Ashamed what the NBA did to his career.
The most underrated and forgotten player of an either generation. Such a shame what they did to him. Without the “drama” he was a first ballot HOF’er... Long live the king of the Scoring PG’s; the Steph Curry before Steph.
I saw Chris get doubled teamed, box and 1, diamond and two(two players guarding him and the other three in a zone) and it didn't matter! One word describes him in High School and at LSU. Unstoppable! And that's with a capital U!
He gave Stockton all of those 55 against Utah plus his Nuggets was one of the teams that beat the 72-10 Bulls. He had Turrets Syndrome and overcame that.
I love the respect the opposing players show at the end even during the game, when CJ checks out he gets a handshake from the guy guarding him. Sportsmanship at it's finest!
I was at this game, it was at St Louis Catholic invitational in Lake Charles,La against Washington Marion High School. Dude went off, the video doesnt do it justice, greatest performance by a high school player ive ever seen. Washington Marion won the Louisiana High School state 3A championship that year if I'm not mistaken, and 2 or 3 of the players were Div 1 signees so its not like Chris did it against some weak scrubs
I heard about that. I heard he dropped like 50 at half. I coached at Northside when we won state. He was my favorite college player of all time. I would kill to see the Washington Marion Tape.
During the LSU vs. Georgetown game down at LSU, they were struggling with that GU defense. Dale Brown looked at him and said, "Chris take over the damn game" and he did. If you are a basketball purist and you want to show your kid how to attack an opponent on the offensive end....find his videos.
I went to school in MS and our team was in the playoffs. When they came back that's the first time I heard his name. I knew he had to be special because that's all they was talking about. Once he left we won state in 1989
I'm a witness HS Mississippi..... 1. Chris Jackson, Played against Purvis Short'Hattiesburg, Henry Ward, Brinkley HS, Big James Edwards Lanier, Eugene Short, Hattiesburg Rowan, Slick Watts, Roland Fork, Eddie 'Buck'Archie, Roland Garrett, Canton Rogers, Ferguson, Vicksburg, Temple, Jessie Pate, Murrah, James "Hollywood' Robinson, Murrah, Monte Ellis, Lanier, Othello Harrington, Ronnie Henderson, Murrah, Jerry Patton, Holly Springs, Mayberry, Canton, Rogers High, Lancaster Gordon, Jim Hill, Audie Norris, Jim Hill, High, Benny Owens, Brinkley (paralyzed), Cornell Warner, Lanier.....
Nobody talks about Litterial Green. He was a beast he avg'd 39 ppg 12 rpg 9 apg in his senior year Georgias all time points leader. He was no walk in the park...
Loved watching him, see him at basketball camp at lsu in the late 80s he was electric, also saw Don Redden, he was shooting around and I've never seen someone shoot and never hit rim, just net all around the world, it was something I never forgot
Who was the coach of the yellow team....Stevie "Motha F#ckin" Wonder??? Did he never hear of the strategy called Double Fuc#ing Teaming? I'm Rick James Biiiiiitch!!!
Ppl who think Curry is so great need to watch Chris Jackson. He’d tear up the league today. Too bad he went all Allah-Akbar and ruined his life. Never a good choice.
Kenny Banks couldn't hack it as a pro? he dropped 50 just like in this video on John stockton had a 38 points and a triple double vs jason kidd the man could play he was blackballed from the league
Only someone whos not aware would suggest he was a head case, some ppl just cant aren't for sale.... Why stand or knell until these are fair across the board

He was so much better in college.
Neal D ..
..yes indeed
Litterial Green was quite the scorer also from Mississippi

💯💯

Best guard frm Mississippi and we have had our share in the high school ranks me being one also salute to the greatest

at every level this guy was a certified cook book
UTEP VS LSU still a classic Hardaway vs Rahoof
Best individual talent in MS that I've witness without a doubt.
I've witness and coached and saw practice whom I would consider the best ever....
Gulfport 87 vs Lake Charles' Washington-Marion 74
C.Jackson 55 points and 9/12 from 3-pt
Thanks MrSterlingfoster for this game
Bro this was a classic game.
It looks like The Town came to see Him perform. And what a performance.
I love the respect the opposing players show at the end even during the game, when CJ checks out he gets a handshake from the guy guarding him. Sportsmanship at it's finest!

TJ JO he played like this against Jordan in the NBA! Phil Jackson said he was unguardable.
I heard about that. I heard he dropped like 50 at half. I coached at Northside when we won state. He was my favorite college player of all time. I would kill to see the Washington Marion Tape.
Definitely my favorite college player. This is a good quality vid.

Number 12 still having nightmares
I went to school in MS and our team was in the playoffs. When they came back that's the first time I heard his name. I knew he had to be special because that's all they was talking about. Once he left we won state in 1989
I tried my best to emulate his game in high school. The right to left cross over dribble between the legs and that quick jumper
Same here
He didn’t play like a high school player at all. Instead, more like a pro just playing casually against teens.
It was the same for him in college too.
Top 50 all time basketball in general
that dude at the top of the zone was getting absolutely scorched. ha ha
2:07 is pure criminal! Chris was a wonder to behold!
Insane. A natural.
Awesome footage!
Best of all time.
I'm a witness HS Mississippi.....
1. Chris Jackson, Played against Purvis Short'Hattiesburg, Henry Ward, Brinkley HS, Big James Edwards Lanier, Eugene Short, Hattiesburg Rowan, Slick Watts, Roland Fork, Eddie

James Hollywood Robinson's
Loved watching him, see him at basketball camp at lsu in the late 80s he was electric, also saw Don Redden, he was shooting around and I've never seen someone shoot and never hit rim, just net all around the world, it was something I never forgot
The truly great ones make it look so easy.
The play is Chris shooting from the top of the key. He makes it again!!
Bet #12 still having nightmares bout this guy!!!😂😂😂😂
Damn this could be an episode of Dateline titled "Grown man rapes High School Boys"
lol it does remind me of " to catch a predator"'
Super post . Thanks . Those are true jump shots , not set shots , and at 9 for twelve not just jacking for numbers.
@ 2:06 is just SICK!
I know #12 still having nightmares about this game‼️😂🤣...
His teamates must a been pissed
He was the original “A.I.”
Curry*
0:40 he got mad hops
The play #1 is Chris shoots and makes it. No play #2...haha
young cats don't know about this.....
That damn zone🤣🤣
We have to find out who number 12 is ... I know this game is something he vividly remembers
#12 is still having nightmares 😂
I know number 12 was mad as hell!
I feel bad for number 12...
My goodness did they fire the coach ?? He just walked into 30 of the points in the same spot,
basketball god
The best
Straight stud
he went nuts
The first curry.
More athletic than Curry.
His bench in 2nd half never claps or show any support to this dude..
Damn number 12 getting roasted😂😂😂
Abdul rauf was really good
Dude was sick with it! Monta Ellis was not better. I have to respectfully disagree.
was this gulfport vs diberville?, who were we playing (GHS c/o 03)
He wore Kevin durants number 35 in the video
Hey youngster, Durant wore Chris number 35. Chris was first. That was his high school number.
He was Steph before Steph
Who was the coach of the yellow team....Stevie "Motha F#ckin" Wonder??? Did he never hear of the strategy called Double Fuc#ing Teaming?
I'm Rick James Biiiiiitch!!!
It wouldn’t have mattered. Jackson would’ve gone right around the double team.
the curry prototype
2nd half they forced him left which was his strength. U needed to force him right we’re he’s not as accurate on his jumper
3:23
poor #12. smh. lol
Sorry, he was an amazing talent but I just don't need to see him shoot a zillion FT's
Ppl who think Curry is so great need to watch Chris Jackson. He’d tear up the league today. Too bad he went all Allah-Akbar and ruined his life. Never a good choice.
He couldn't hack it playing pro ball huh and everybody know Gulfport play dem sorry coast teams back den and now.
Kenny Banks you must be the guy holding him hahahaha. you sound salty.
you have got to be a bullshit jackson product
Kenny Banks couldn't hack it as a pro? he dropped 50 just like in this video on John stockton had a 38 points and a triple double vs jason kidd the man could play he was blackballed from the league
jordan Harp Don’t forget he torched the 72 win Bulls team as well and neither MJ or Pippen could stop him or wanted to guard him.
Too bad the guy turned into a freak not standing for anthems. Mahmoud was a head case.
Mahmoud is a man with integrity who STOOD up against white supremacy.
Only someone whos not aware would suggest he was a head case, some ppl just cant aren't for sale.... Why stand or knell until these are fair across the board
Jayson D Exactly
mike howard Exactly
@@DjTIMEJD lol the white supremist who supported him and gave him the opportunity
One of the GOATS. Reminds me of Nikos Galis, the greatest European basketball player ever.
The best
