@@vellabellsabanto9767 to be honest I've not looked to see if my simplex is updated :-) I better have a look hahaha. Have you updated your nox800? I've a video on my channel showing the 3.0 update:-)
@@ifindmetal I'm yet to take it to the beach but being a Nox user I'm trying to stay positive 🙃, im sure it will do well. Seen plenty of other channels use it on wet sands.
The Vanquish is a wicked detector for the money. The Simplex is a Wicked detector for the Money. I could not choice what one So I bought The Simplex then The Vanquish 340 and 540..lol...
What one do you prefer over the 3 like? Its great that the simplex is waterproof for the money but for me the clarity of the tones on the vanquish are a great selling point for me
@@TheMetalDetectingChannel The Vanquish 340/540..I got the 600 I use the most. but found some goodies with all 4 ..I enjoy the hobby a lot..
Your vanquish 340 sound way more responsive than mine
Really? Have you done any updates? We have a video on our channel showing how to do the update :-)
Simplex cannot compete with the Vanquish, certainly not on the wet beach...
i agree, Minelab rules when it comes to wet sand for sure!
I wouldnt have dug any of those using the simplex and it proved right. Digging that junk. All metal is crap as well, field 1 there and you would have been flying
Yeah I agree its just a matter of getting used to the machine and knowing what settings to use, we used all metal because someone told us to use it but we did switch back to field as it was so much better. Thanks for watching matey 👍
It's defo a detector to listen to rather than check those vdi's ..great vids keep them coming kid
Sorry Mike football ⚽️ with boys
Its cool man :-)
All tones on the vanquish are too similar to fine tune your ear to. Also dug a lot of iron with it. Personally I am an ORX user/lover, had it for nearly a year, but also have a simplex as back up... It's not built greatly but certainly better build than the vanquish - that USB port in the battery compartment is ridiculous!
100% build quality is better on the simplex but for the price I just can't see a better entry level machine on the market, I know a few people who use the ORX and its a great machine but still priced around the equinox sort of price range
@@TheMetalDetectingChannel yep I had an equinox as well and couldn't get to grips with it at all, sold it within a few months and got the ORX for around £500 and haven't looked back since, I guess I'm just not a minelab fan 😂
@@TheMetalDetectingChannel however I did prefer the v540 to the nox!
@@TheMetalDetectingChannel the other plus point to the Simplex is that you can connect the pulse dive pointer to the headphones... You can't do this on anything else at this price point, next one up would be the ORX with the MI-6 which is an unbeatable combo in my opinion, or the Garrett Z Link and AT pro pointer but that's an extra cost on top of whatever machine you have
vanquish much better sounds then the simplex
I agree Barry. The simplex just didn't seem to get on very well with me lol
Nokta not as good depth, and nokta love coke,I’ve got the 340,it’s pisses all over the nokta, nokta aren’t stable on target ID
Thanks for watching matey 👍 😀 I really like the vanquish:-)
Fake the digs then what else is fake
Eye see we are not sure what you mean 🤔 but we 100% don't fake any finds, the thing you don't see is that we start detecting at 6am and sometimes don't finish till 6pm after digging hundreds of holes each and still never find nothing great, but some of our permission just keep on producing awesome finds :-)
We have invited many people to.come dig with us and some of them people have found amazing finds even gold coins.
Thank you for watching our suff matey we really appreciate it 😀👍😊🙏
I found three gold rings one day in under 35 minutes. Glad I didn`t film it.
Minelab deffo seems to be giving a clearer one!
Agree matey, just caugh up with your latest podcast 👍 😀 😉 👌 awesome work
Well good hunt guys. Mine lab wins!
I think so too lol :-)
Minelab wins ? Ha ha you ran the Sensativity low on Simplex most of time , and all those Unclear tones were Trash the simplex was telling you they were the Vanquish rings hard on everything that's extremely stupid you dug tons of Trash because it does that , Vanquish failed here
@@ifindmetal to be fair it did take me a while to get used to the minelab tones as my detector before was a whites mx sport. Im sure 90% of it is just because im not familiar with the nokta tones.. ill keep at it :-)
@@TheMetalDetectingChannel I'm over here in the States so I Don't know what UK coins ring up but I literally predicted every thing else you dug off what Simplex was saying, has it occured to you that the Vanquish ringing up the same clear tone for everything is not very productive unless you like to dig all trash then it's great
