3:05 he knew he nailed that one.
He said "something like Olivia" with his guitar if you listen to it right. As a guitar player I immediately picked up on that lol
Aaron Sterling and Jim Keltner! Groovy shit right here.
First video I see John playing his olympic white fender signature guitar
it looks like it but it's actually a 61 hardtail strat... very similar for some reason... 😉
yeah, you´re right
@@squatguy315 I am always impressed when a guy can recognize precisely guitar like you ahah congrats !
Alexandre Desmonts LOL i was 15 when i wrote that, now i’m 18. I honestly forgot about that strat but now i remember. the internet is one crazy thing!
Good for you John!! One of my favorite songs to just love the song just love it
Pure BB in the first solo
Great song!
Me encanta el ritmo de esta canción.
Nice music
Bit of BB King soloing here
BB King box
Definitely the box and also that phrasing. Smooooveee
Adoro este moleque !!! Criança grande rs rs rs
Looks like Where the light is'' performance
I like when John takes a slower approach to soloing like in this video. Sometimes he overdoes it a bit, and of course it’s still amazing, but I like when he’s a bit more measured in his soloing.
pure gold - ´n, hahah, Jim Keltner in the shadows :)?
Absolutely stealing the lick at 3:06
Ever notice how big John Mayer looks compared to his guitar. He’s actually like 6’4 I think👀
It looks like a toy on him its hilarious
There is something strangley small about that guitar. Compare it with ruclips.net/video/gLMnWxw1Qpg/видео.html
BB King influence is all over this
Ese Joe Goldberh si sabe
fender pop from the maestro
"Lets get the legend Jim Keltner on drums and completely fuck it up by adding another drummer"
the drum is a bit too stand out
Insert "Give Me One More Reason" where appropriate.Same vibe. Kinda cheesy but the solo saves it I guess. As in the other song.
I can see how their similar.
Timothy Smith google it
I agree. I like John Mayer but I couldn't believe this was him. I had to do a double-take. Sounds like Joan Osborne or something.
Why 2 drummers
Marco Kaarsgaarn to add extra groove
Why not?
Because Steve isn't with him and he needs two drummers to keep up
Dead vibe
Ultra pockety
