Although for someone like him who nonstop plays the game a lot, yes I have taken some breaks from the game maybe for months at a time but all in all it takes sooooooooooo long and it gets so boring but I think it was well worth it now since I can’t wait to get to TH 12!!!! 😂
My fave troop are the sneaky goblins, they can easily get 1star with the right spells (jump spells important), loot all cleaned up, possible for another star if the base is not active. Grinding has never been so easy. Good thing super troops went into the game 😄
I started my account in 2014 when I was young, just playing for fun until a couple years later I went all in. Played everyday did war, upgrades all free to play. Over the course of 7 years I’ve taken a total time of 3 years of break with MONTHS between my gameplay. I right now am a th10 in hopes of fully maxing out and I’ve been getting closer and closer, with 5 builders I’ve been having all go at once. I’ve always played free to play and always will, thing is I’ll never max out my account to th15 or 14 or whatever it is simply because ftp will never get you there. But the playing time is fun, doing the battles is fun, watching my village grow is fun, and the process makes it way better. Ftp until the end

I’ve been playing CoC F2P for literal years, and I just reached Town Hall 9 this weekend. Granted, I take VERY long breaks from playing when I stop, but it is still a slow burn. That’s the reality of Free to Play, but you learn to just have fun with where you’re at and seeing your village slowly progress to look like the titanic bases you saw when you first started playing.

Ive been free to play on and off since late 2013 and am only now upgrading to th12 The hardest part about f2p is the waiting times,7 days per hero upgrade and 8-10 days for defence But its fun and kills time which is really what you need nowadays

I’ve been 98% free to play since 2014. Missed a year or two but thanks to you I’ve realized how beneficial the gold pass is. And only recently have I started using those potions. This’ll help a lot when upgrading to TH11 since I’ve maxed my TH10.

I've been playing since the game came out, although I lost my account. So after a long break I got back into Coc (2020,January - present) within 1 year or so With a new account I'm now TH11 nearly maxed! rushing TH12 And I haven't spent more than £15 in game overall. Coc is pretty much 100% free to play. And that's what I love about it. Take your time and enjoy the journey !
I’ve been playing since 2014 and I finally maxed out before the newest update. I was actually happy the new update came out so I can continue to play and upgrade my base, heroes, troops, and spells. The only things I have purchased was a couple of the backgrounds and I have also gotten the gold pass a few times so I could get the hero skins that I thought looked cool.
I guess jo in this month's clan games we will get a book of heroes and rune of dark elixir. Since we haven't got those in previous 2 months clan games.
My dad has been a free to play player for so many years. If I can remember correctly he's been playing Clash of Clans for 5-8 years. He is almost max th 13. He only plays in his spare time and is a very good player. It's very possible to be maxed if you've played since the beginnings of Clash of Clans. He also has about 20,000 gems, would have more if he didn't accidentally use them before lol
Been playing on an off for around 11 years and am currently a few levels away from maxing th14. But I think after maxing out, that is where i quit for good. Not overly interested in spending 14 million per upgrade and waiting 2 weeeks, just the walls alone are gonna cost 1.3 billion resources
Game became a lot easier though, through reductions for buildings with the introductions of new townhalls. Ive got about 1 bio gold and elex farmed and am not even close to max th 11 (havnt played for years), while i regulariy find people with having less than half the farm being alsmost max th12

I rushed my th7(with lvl4 walls) to th11 when it was released and till now I'm 4 months to be maxed on structures and 9 months on lab. Passed 4 years on th11.
I am a free to play player and I have rushed my way to the TH 9 and realised that I don't have much levels in my archer tower , tesla , motors and heroes so I have been trying to max it before going to TH10 so that I don't feel much power difference but it almost took me 2 months with 5 builders working Non stop but Still it felt great I think patience is one of the charm of the game because the satisfaction it gives after waiting for 4 days of upgrade
Same, but I didn’t play for years and just came back. It seems like everything got a lot easier. You get way more resources more easily and times got reduced. TH10 which once took you years to get, is now easily rushed in a year it seems

got so bored with my town hall 12, decided to get 5 more accounts and rush them to town hall 8 in less than a month, They will be approaching town hall 9 in a few days now. Some of the most fun I have ever had, highly reccomend. Don't reccomend touching builder hall though early stages are actually one of the most unfun things ever. Like physically painful is what I'm talking about. Higher level builder hall ain't bad though, still gonna rush all builder halls to 9 or 10 so I can get the 6th builder hall within the next 2 years, maybe 3 years.
If you instantly had enough gems to max everything out, would you even want to? It’d be abandoning your current base for a max base that your unfamiliar with, and sure it would be a cool flex, but what would you after that? There’s nothing really left in the game for you at that point

It took me about 5 month from max 11 to max 12(I have about 130 walls left thats it ). Gold pass and I buy deals(use jos code lol) if they have high value for what I'm focusing on at the time (as in I dont just buy everything and I dont spend gems on upgrades ever). A different opinion: according to me COC is all about exploring maximum troop combination attack and enjoying a TH rather than trying to max out everything
I have 4 accounts in clash of clans, mainly as insurance in case I get banned because my th9 I've been using since 2015 got banned, and so did 4 other accounts I made after in just 2 months. 1 of my accounts In currently rushing from th5 to th12 for the troops so I can donate to myself and my clan more because I'm a co leader, and I essentially run the entire clan since the leader doesn't and I like to help out my clan mates. That account is currently a rushed th11 and in 3 days, once my gold storages are upgraded, ill start going to th12
I've had the game for like three years now, i'm about 60% of the way to maxing my TH10, i take big breaks from playing here and there but i always come back and restart playing and the game always feel fresh whenever you come back with all the new additions, this time i came back because of the clan capital!
First time i watched jo back when this base was th9, i was like : there is no way this youtuber is doing 100% free to play, and now I am just so amazed that he really kept it 100% free to play. Respect to Jo.
Atleast before making Lab or Building time reduction , they could give us regular events with better rewards such as Books , Research potion or Builder potion . Y'all know shovel , wall rings and at times even power potion sucks when they are given as rewards in events . We all need those good old days when we were getting better rewards in regular events.

I’ve only had the gold pass maybe once and I started out TH1 playing very casually. I often don’t open the game for days at a time and only play for about 10-15 minutes when I do. Past 4 years I just got to TH10 few months ago. Still upgrading.
I used to be free to play for the longest time until a couple years ago but then the gold pass came out and it was so much value I just needed to buy it and the offers were just so good so I bought almost every gold pass 😂
I've been playing free to play since the VERY beginning, and you're completely right, it takes a whole lot of time to max out, I've just recently maxed my th10 (still missing some dark troops, and won't upgrade until those are fully upgraded) but still it takes A LOT of time and sometimes it's really frustrating

I was just about to comment about the fact that i didnt believe he had only been playing for 17 months and hes a maxed th11, until he said that he started as a th7. I have been th10 for half a year and still have all my walls, most of my troups, and heroes to upgrade

Been playing CoC for a really long time (although never really consistently) and finally hit TH12 after I maxed TH11. It must 5-6 years for sure. Although I have to admit it got easier and easier considering all the added stuff like books and spells for your town.
The pride of not having taken shortcuts.. there's simply more to learn that way... Value of an upgrade that's earned the hard way is that much sweeter...I love COC. playing without paying from the very first day I got my android back in 2009..
It was around the same time that i turned to 11 as you jo but my th11 wasn't max when i put it up to 12 about 3 weeks ago because i had nothing to do with Elixir because im fully max on th11 walls which lead me to putting in to th12 because i dont want to miss those elixirs which can be turn for atleast 20 th12 walls
Took me six months to fully max everything in my th11 base. Been playing for 1 year and 9 months. Only took a break for a week then on with the grind again. Completely f2p player here.
I agree about fixing rushed bases, my friend who starting play about a month ago is a very rushed th9 and I told him(he was at th5) that if he was going to rush then go to th7, I was a th10 at the time and he typically gets jealous when I'm better than him in things like this, I think he got a bit carried away this time because his highest level structure is his laboratory which is level 5, you can have level 12 resource collectors and level 30 heroes.
I don’t care about maxing I just care about fixing my rushed base, when I was a kid I rushed now I’m trying to fix my town hall 11 base. One day I might max.
this raises my respect for the clan leader of my previous clan even more. dude had like 10 accounts with th 14 as the highest level when I was still in the clan. dude must've been grinding nonstop to do that
I have been playing completely f2p, meaning no battlepass as well and its been many years since I've started my account. Of course I took breaks in between and now I have resulted in a solid th12 base. Although this may sound weird, but if you want to get to progress faster, I do suggest rushing so you can unlock many features that aren't available to lower townhalls and there is the possibility of facing higher townhall bases when attack resulting in more loot. i semi rushed from maxed townhall 10 to townhall 12 so my clan would have access to siege machines as well as 5 other members of my clan which at the time only had townhall 10 as the highest townhall. I would say it was very effective, especially in war but after 6 months of grinding, I would proudly say that my base is pretty close to maxing. don't underestimate rushing!

Im a Free2Play player who started in 2016. Within a year, i reached TH9 with a super rushed base. I then realized that rushing isnt the best so i just started upgrading normally. I have started the final upgrade of TH9 2 days ago, along with the town hall to level 10. Fixing my rushed base was fun, but it took quite a bit of time.

Honestly my newest acct is not free to play. I do buy the season pass. But I rushed to th9 . It took about 5-6 weeks. Now I'm fixing the rush , but I'm glad I rushed and here is why. Rushed to th3 to join clan ( access to cc troops and more capable of completing season challenges) rushed to 4 ( builder base for more obstacles and season challenge completion) rushed to 6 for clan games . Rushed 8 for trader ( occasional free offer) rushed 9 for queen. My other 2 accts ( th 11 and th12 ) are not rushed and are also using gold pass. Unfortunately I've also lost 3 accts ( th7 th8 and th9) on 2older devices that can't get the iOS update and a tablet I no longer have. On a side note , I agree that the training potions are valuable. you are right free to play takes alot of time but alot of people like me rush to a certain town hall level because they want to play with a certain troop
Clash is one of those games, though, where I don't "downgrade" myself from being free to play just for buying the Gold Pass. I mean, it's reasonably priced and helps _a LOT,_ like you said. And I don't spend crazy amounts of money on gems and stuff, so I still consider myself as F2P. (Is there a distinction above free, like C2P - Cheapskate to Play?) Other games, for instance Plants vs Zombies 2 (which I used to play, but no longer), just ram microtransactions down your throat and essentially force you to buy them or you'll make *NO* progress. I mean, what's the difference between a level 6 and level 7 plant in that game? Virtually nothing, but it sure takes a lot of seeds to upgrade it... Add to that the P2W players in that game will always be better than you in Arena rankings and such, so your prizes at the end of it will be significantly lower. So being F2P in that game is just ramming your head against a wall for no gain.
I'm a th10 player and I've been on and off the game over the years, taking a year break, trying again and getting from th9 to th10, and then not playing for 1-2 years... but I've gotten back recently and it's been much easier to keep my resources from being stolen too quickly, even though I decided to drop trophies to work on the unbreakable achievement, I'm still getting enough loot where I'm not completely dead in the water for the upgrades. Especially cause I already dealt with the more expensive ones so I'm basically working on heroes (23 king and my queen is getting 28 right now, just got a book from the battle pass so I can use that on her next upgrade) and 7 day upgrades in the research factory (many including dark elixer ones) and then for defenses I'm halfway on the 500k wall upgrades, and some 1 mil ones are done, 3 of my teslas need an upgrade, my cannons need 2 except the double one at max, and the archer towers and lots of traps I'm done on those. So yeah watching your vids it's really opened my eyes to just how much de I need, level 40 is max on heroes didn't know that, I need a lot more de for troop upgrades, so basically while dropping for this achievement I'm using my king to take out drills or de storages that are exposed. I'm getting there though...
As a don't spend money on mobile games anymore player what I do is leave my base for some time and let my loot cart thingy fill up so when I come back I can have all my storages full and level up something and then leave the base for some time and repeat

Tbh if ur active , it takes a couple months to get from th1 - 9 , and then once ur at th9 that's when it takes a whole lot of time to max out

I’ve been 98% free to play since 2014. Missed a year or two but thanks to you I’ve realized how beneficial the gold pass is. And only recently have I started using those potions. This’ll help a lot when upgrading to TH11 since I’ve maxed my TH10.
There is no such thing as "98% free to play". You are either free to play, or you are not.

@@tusk6400 sometimes you get a potion that you don't use, so you sell it when the time is right, for example, when you need gems to finish an upgrade or buy something from the trader. power potions are useful, but I never use them. So I sell them

I've been playing since the game came out, although I lost my account. So after a long break I got back into Coc (2020,January - present) within 1 year or so With a new account I'm now TH11 nearly maxed! rushing TH12 And I haven't spent more than £15 in game overall. Coc is pretty much 100% free to play. And that's what I love about it. Take your time and enjoy the journey !
I’ve been playing since 2014 and I finally maxed out before the newest update. I was actually happy the new update came out so I can continue to play and upgrade my base, heroes, troops, and spells. The only things I have purchased was a couple of the backgrounds and I have also gotten the gold pass a few times so I could get the hero skins that I thought looked cool.

My dad has been a free to play player for so many years. If I can remember correctly he's been playing Clash of Clans for 5-8 years. He is almost max th 13. He only plays in his spare time and is a very good player. It's very possible to be maxed if you've played since the beginnings of Clash of Clans. He also has about 20,000 gems, would have more if he didn't accidentally use them before lol

Been playing on an off for around 11 years and am currently a few levels away from maxing th14. But I think after maxing out, that is where i quit for good.
Not overly interested in spending 14 million per upgrade and waiting 2 weeeks, just the walls alone are gonna cost 1.3 billion resources
Game became a lot easier though, through reductions for buildings with the introductions of new townhalls. Ive got about 1 bio gold and elex farmed and am not even close to max th 11 (havnt played for years), while i regulariy find people with having less than half the farm being alsmost max th12

I rushed my th7(with lvl4 walls) to th11 when it was released and till now I'm 4 months to be maxed on structures and 9 months on lab. Passed 4 years on th11.
So you either didnt use your builders for 2 years or you only have 2 builders

I am a free to play player and I have rushed my way to the TH 9 and realised that I don't have much levels in my archer tower , tesla , motors and heroes so I have been trying to max it before going to TH10 so that I don't feel much power difference but it almost took me 2 months with 5 builders working Non stop but Still it felt great I think patience is one of the charm of the game because the satisfaction it gives after waiting for 4 days of upgrade

Same, but I didn’t play for years and just came back. It seems like everything got a lot easier. You get way more resources more easily and times got reduced. TH10 which once took you years to get, is now easily rushed in a year it seems

got so bored with my town hall 12, decided to get 5 more accounts and rush them to town hall 8 in less than a month, They will be approaching town hall 9 in a few days now. Some of the most fun I have ever had, highly reccomend. Don't reccomend touching builder hall though early stages are actually one of the most unfun things ever. Like physically painful is what I'm talking about. Higher level builder hall ain't bad though, still gonna rush all builder halls to 9 or 10 so I can get the 6th builder hall within the next 2 years, maybe 3 years.
I can concur I've been fixing my rushed base for the last 2 years, but I'm also a pretty busy person.

If you instantly had enough gems to max everything out, would you even want to? It’d be abandoning your current base for a max base that your unfamiliar with, and sure it would be a cool flex, but what would you after that? There’s nothing really left in the game for you at that point

It took me about 5 month from max 11 to max 12(I have about 130 walls left thats it ). Gold pass and I buy deals(use jos code lol) if they have high value for what I'm focusing on at the time (as in I dont just buy everything and I dont spend gems on upgrades ever). I have 4 accounts in clash of clans, mainly as insurance in case I get banned because my th9 I've been using since 2015 got banned, and so did 4 other accounts I made after in just 2 months.
1 of my accounts In currently rushing from th5 to th12 for the troops so I can donate to myself and my clan more because I'm a co leader, and I essentially run the entire clan since the leader doesn't and I like to help out my clan mates.
That account is currently a rushed th11 and in 3 days, once my gold storages are upgraded, ill start going to th12
I've had the game for like three years now, i'm about 60% of the way to maxing my TH10, i take big breaks from playing here and there but i always come back and restart playing and the game always feel fresh whenever you come back with all the new additions, this time i came back because of the clan capital!

Atleast before making Lab or Building time reduction , they could give us regular events with better rewards such as Books , Research potion or Builder potion . Y'all know shovel , wall rings and at times even power potion sucks when they are given as rewards in events . We all need those good old days when we were getting better rewards in regular events.

I’ve only had the gold pass maybe once and I started out TH1 playing very casually. I often don’t open the game for days at a time and only play for about 10-15 minutes when I do. Past 4 years I just got to TH10 few months ago. Still upgrading.

I've been playing free to play since the VERY beginning, and you're completely right, it takes a whole lot of time to max out, I've just recently maxed my th10 (still missing some dark troops, and won't upgrade until those are fully upgraded) but still it takes A LOT of time and sometimes it's really frustrating
it took me 2 years from townhall 10 to town hall 11, and since then, I'm still on TH11 since 2019 till now

You were speaking facts about rushing. I made the mistake of rushing to TH11 about 3-4 years ago and then took a break for about a year or two. When i came back, i tried to max out my base, but after about 2 years, im getting closer, but still not maxed
Been playing CoC for a really long time (although never really consistently) and finally hit TH12 after I maxed TH11. It must 5-6 years for sure. Although I have to admit it got easier and easier considering all the added stuff like books and spells for your town.
The pride of not having taken shortcuts.. there's simply more to learn that way... Value of an upgrade that's earned the hard way is that much sweeter...I love COC. playing without paying from the very first day I got my android back in 2009..

I agree about fixing rushed bases, my friend who starting play about a month ago is a very rushed th9 and I told him(he was at th5) that if he was going to rush then go to th7, I was a th10 at the time and he typically gets jealous when I'm better than him in things like this, I think he got a bit carried away this time because his highest level structure is his laboratory which is level 5, you can have level 12 resource collectors and level 30 heroes.
I don’t care about maxing I just care about fixing my rushed base, when I was a kid I rushed now I’m trying to fix my town hall 11 base. One day I might max.

I have been playing completely f2p, meaning no battlepass as well and its been many years since I've started my account. Of course I took breaks in between and now I have resulted in a solid th12 base. Although this may sound weird, but if you want to get to progress faster, I do suggest rushing so you can unlock many features that aren't available to lower townhalls and there is the possibility of facing higher townhall bases when attack resulting in more loot. i semi rushed from maxed townhall 10 to townhall 12 so my clan would have access to siege machines as well as 5 other members of my clan which at the time only had townhall 10 as the highest townhall. I would say it was very effective, especially in war but after 6 months of grinding, I would proudly say that my base is pretty close to maxing. don't underestimate rushing!

Im a Free2Play player who started in 2016. Within a year, i reached TH9 with a super rushed base. I then realized that rushing isnt the best so i just started upgrading normally. I have started the final upgrade of TH9 2 days ago, along with the town hall to level 10. Fixing my rushed base was fun, but it took quite a bit of time.
I have been playing since 2020 pandy hit in April. I am putely free 2 play and i am about to max th13.

Honestly my newest acct is not free to play. I do buy the season pass. But I rushed to th9 . It took about 5-6 weeks. Now I'm fixing the rush , but I'm glad I rushed and here is why. Rushed to th3 to join clan ( access to cc troops and more capable of completing season challenges) rushed to 4 ( builder base for more obstacles and season challenge completion) rushed to 6 for clan games . Rushed 8 for trader ( occasional free offer) rushed 9 for queen. My other 2 accts ( th 11 and th12 ) are not rushed and are also using gold pass. Unfortunately I've also lost 3 accts ( th7 th8 and th9) on 2older devices that can't get the iOS update and a tablet I no longer have. On a side note , I agree that the training potions are valuable. I also agree that free to play requires time and patience. Thanx for the video. Clash on !
you are right free to play takes alot of time but alot of people like me rush to a certain town hall level because they want to play with a certain troop
Clash is one of those games, though, where I don't "downgrade" myself from being free to play just for buying the Gold Pass. I mean, it's reasonably priced and helps _a LOT,_ like you said. And I don't spend crazy amounts of money on gems and stuff, so I still consider myself as F2P. (Is there a distinction above free, like C2P - Cheapskate to Play?)
Other games, for instance Plants vs Zombies 2 (which I used to play, but no longer), just ram microtransactions down your throat and essentially force you to buy them or you'll make *NO* progress. I mean, what's the difference between a level 6 and level 7 plant in that game? Virtually nothing, but it sure takes a lot of seeds to upgrade it... Add to that the P2W players in that game will always be better than you in Arena rankings and such, so your prizes at the end of it will be significantly lower. So being F2P in that game is just ramming your head against a wall for no gain.
I'm a th10 player and I've been on and off the game over the years, taking a year break, trying again and getting from th9 to th10, and then not playing for 1-2 years... but I've gotten back recently and it's been much easier to keep my resources from being stolen too quickly, even though I decided to drop trophies to work on the unbreakable achievement, I'm still getting enough loot where I'm not completely dead in the water for the upgrades.
Especially cause I already dealt with the more expensive ones so I'm basically working on heroes (23 king and my queen is getting 28 right now, just got a book from the battle pass so I can use that on her next upgrade) and 7 day upgrades in the research factory (many including dark elixer ones) and then for defenses I'm halfway on the 500k wall upgrades, and some 1 mil ones are done, 3 of my teslas need an upgrade, my cannons need 2 except the double one at max, and the archer towers and lots of traps I'm done on those.
So yeah watching your vids it's really opened my eyes to just how much de I need, level 40 is max on heroes didn't know that, I need a lot more de for troop upgrades, so basically while dropping for this achievement I'm using my king to take out drills or de storages that are exposed. I'm getting there though...

As a don't spend money on mobile games anymore player what I do is leave my base for some time and let my loot cart thingy fill up so when I come back I can have all my storages full and level up something and then leave the base for some time and repeat
I'm 4years playing clash, so far i just bought 2 gold passes. But i was active especially in clan games, war leagues, special events. I rarely miss them.
Now I'm half maxed out my TH15 and i want to upgrade it to TH16 as soon as I upgrade all
