A semi official word is that you'll need to do the merges to go th17. I recommend doing it anyway. It adds hp and dps to your base.
Would make sense tbh, but you could play all of 16 without it
That will definitely be the case, there are currently 100 buildings WO the merge, so forcing the merge will allow supercell to add more buildings to th 17
So at Town Hall 15 theres over 100 buildings if it is true at TH 16 there's 100 cuz of the merger
If you merge then there is no going back. At least you can keep it that way till th17 drops.

honestly...this time, supercell team did very well with update. Don't get me wrong when i say this gem to max are not giving that much pleasure now compared to previous town hall. with this update, there are perks which you unlock at every upgrade specially with blacksmith and it is just so much fun to experience that journey. Kudos to COC team.
But i still will watch it 😁

When you upgrade the healers does it in crease the level of the healers when you use her ability. If so then healers is a good choice to upgrade

Tip use goblin map for loot if not looted earlier i tried that and get all my walls up

Used gold to upgrade walls instead of rings, used 1.1k gems instead of book 😂😂😂

Has maxed hero levels for every th changed or theres a glitch in the game. I have a maxed th at every level starting at th5 and now I am able to upgrade my king past lvl 5 at th7 and past lvl 10 at th8. When did this change happen?

No new anilitiy eq unlocks after that but we can upgrade it a few more leveks over 5
You need higher levels to level up equipment. Level 6
7 gets you level 18 max common gear
