  • The trail offers everything: An overlook, two beautiful waterfalls, a swinging bridge, boulders, rocks, creek crossings, a spring, wildflowers (in the spring), and a river. We logged right around 6 or 7 miles on this scenic out and back trail at Collins West Trailhead near Gruetli-Laager, Tn.
This is an older but informative blog about the Collins Gulf Loop. South Cumberland State Park has been split and the Savage Gulf SNA is now Savage Gulf State Park.

Great video. Thanks. I really liked it. I went to Savage Gulf back in May, but i was on the West and North end. I saw Greeter, Boardtree, and Laurel Falls. This video makes me want to return so I can see these waterfalls, including Ranger Falls.

We love Ranger Falls! Of course, Suter and Horsepound rank right up there. I hope you get to see all of them. We are making plans to go back in the wet season for sure.
