    Good choice, I go this exact one. No issues so far! Also, Mabett is pretty active on the forums. If you reach out they might want to advertise this.

      Yes I have a few Mabett things and they have all been good products. I know they also have a Facebook page, where they come up with ideas and ask for feedback from Bronco owners before they go in to production. That page is 'Mabett for Bronco 2021 2022 Design'

    Nice video and nice install. Way over my budget for a table. I have a table from rough country, and it is rough. I may rebuild it or make one from scratch. Either way it will have double neodymium "latches".

      Thank you. I thought about making my own as well, but when I started to tally up the materials that would be necessary to do it right, I went the 'buy' route. Maybe this video will help you with some ideas on how to construct it, especially the mounting points. Good luck!

    Looks good 👍. My Bronco came with the dealer installed Ford oem table, and I wish it had a solid surface above the "molle" slotted section like the Mabbet table does. I do use the molle slots and have hung some various small bags on it, including an IFAK-type first aid kit. Also ord'd (amazon) some magnetic-base cup holders that work with cups, cans, travel mugs, that prevent them from being knocked-over by hand or wind-blown. They work well on the fold-down table (if it's made from steel).

    • @BudgetBronco
      @BudgetBronco  Год назад

      The magnetic base cup is a great idea! This table is steel so they will definitely stick to that. I might just put that on my Christmas list, thanks for the suggestion!

    Maybe throw some sound deadening mat in there to reduce the vibration noise - it's just about nothing during driving, but couldn't hurt for the opening / closing. Figure it'll just give it a bit more premium feel.

    • @BudgetBronco
      @BudgetBronco  Год назад +2

      That is a great idea...maybe some kind of dense foam with a little bit of give to it, sandwiched between the molle surface and the table surface where there is a half inch of air. That would probably cut out the 'drum' noise when slamming the gate closed. Thanks for the suggestion!

      Thanks! I am going to try and make plans for this in the new year. Sadly, here in Western PA there aren't as many publicly available trails like you have down in TN, so I just need to plan better to get out of town. Thanks for watching

    I like it but any idea why the tailgate table is different on the pictures when you click the amazon link? Doesn't look like the one you reviewed, hmm

    • @BudgetBronco

      Thanks for pointing that out. I don't know why, but it looks like the version that I installed is no longer available on Amazon. I am going to make a note of that in my comment.

    Awesome. How deep is it? I have the OEM security cage in the back of mine because I have a soft top and I want to make sure it doesn’t hit when I close the back gate with that on.

    The only version of this table that i can find doesnt actually have the holes in the upper part and theres a cutting board in it now.

    • @BudgetBronco
      @BudgetBronco  Год назад

      Hmm...I just checked the Amazon store and it looks like you are correct. Usually there are three different versions for sale and an option to pick the one you want: the original version that I installed, a 'transformers' version that has fold out sides, and the cutting board version. It looks like only the cutting board version is available right now. I would suggest you check back later, they are always having various items out of stock due to high demand.

    Having a really hard time with the table, seems to be about a .75 inch gap when I tighten one side. Can't figure it out. any thoughts? I can't find Mabett's customer service contact anywhere (some chips on that table too_

    11:20 - am I the only one that's triggered by the lock nut facing outward here?

    • @BudgetBronco
      @BudgetBronco  Год назад

      Hmm....must be the camera playing tricks. I just went and checked and that lock nut is on in the proper orientation. The nylon part inside it is blue, and that is showing through, but it is on the correct way. Since you have a keen eye, I will admit to you that there IS something I messed up in the video and later fixed but did not edit it out. Can you spot it???

    • @reverb508
      @reverb508 Год назад +1

      @@BudgetBronco sorry, I wasn’t implying you installed the nut wrong. I just think it looks cleaner with the hex bolt on the inside. I’m sure you installed it per the instructions.

    Hello Budget Bronco! Thanks for this and other helpful videos. Just wondering if this tailgate table is compatible with the factory slide-out tailgate…will the tailgate table’s open position prevent the slide-out tailgate from sliding out all of the way? I remember Ford did not allow buyers to choose both options online. Not sure if it was a weight limit requirement, or something else.

    • @BudgetBronco
      @BudgetBronco  Год назад

      Is this the product you are referring to? accessories.ford.com/products/bronco-2021-2023-slideout-tailgate If so, it is tough to say. The table I installed does protrude in to the cabin maybe an inch and a half or so. It might be enough to contact slide out. A bigger question though, why would you need both??
