I lived in Malaysia for almost 8 years or more I have more positivity to add onto what the brother was saying ....I have in almost 9 years never encountered any negetivity what so ever apart from that once I saw a rat inside a mamak ...lol well I guess in London you will spot a rat on every corner ....I wish one day to go back to Malaysia forever inshallah
As a Muslim in Malaysia, i personally welcome all muslim brothers and sisters to do hijrah in our country. As long as you can contribute to the benefits of the ummah. But one thing for sure. We malaysians already have our own culture and way of life. We just hope our brothers can learn the way of life in Malaysia based on our culture. There are some problem we have here regarding with other muslim brothers from Bangladesh, Myanmar and africans. Many of them cause trouble to our society and tarnish the image of Islam. Cleanliness and rudeness are the main issue we face here from those foreigners. Im sorry and don't mean to generalized group of people but many have shown such regretted attitude.
Totally agree. Middle easterns here are also arrogant, rude with unruly loitering kids. Inn general, muslims should practice islamic values and behaviour wherever we go.
In Malaysia, the Non Muslims are very nice people too and get along well with Muslims because the Malaysian culture is very united though diverse. There isnt extreme forms of any religion..all religions are practiced well. Everyone gets holidays for both Islamic and Non Islamic holidays. Lots of Hindu temples, Buddhist temples and also Churches. Its a great place to stay.
All praise to Allah who have made Malaysia what it is, but we as Malaysian know that our country still have a lot to improve including in our faith, but we tried our best. With the current situation of the world Malaysian muslim also felt the pressure of secularism and liberalism encroaching us. We are scared that someday we Muslim in Malaysia cant hold it anymore. But we tried our best to protect our deen and our culture from all these fitna of the world.
4 days ago, I just came back from a 6 week trip in Malaysia. I have been mildly depressed ever sense coming back. If you can make Hijra there, it’s place to go.
@@OptimizedMuslim I must preface this response by stating I have a Malaysian Muslim wife. We have gone back to visit Malaysia many times and this past trip was one of many. There was something special about this one. Yes, I felt the difference in my imaan when I was walking to the masjid 2 blocks away for fajr every morning. Yes, I enjoyed the ease of making salaat anywhere due to access to a musala (Surau) in every mall. Yes, I enjoyed eating Burger King and McDonalds (Which taste like the McD’s I grew up with when it used to be good in the States) and having the luxury to eat everything off the menu. Yes, the local food is clean and safe to eat, even from street venders. Yes, the people made me feel comfortable with the salaams given and received by random Muslims on the streets. Yes, I feel at ease when the police won’t harass a 6 feet talk African American man for walking on the streets. Yes, I never feel my life is in danger when I see the police. Yes, the traffic is heavy, but I used Grab (like Uber) and paid less then 3 US dollars per trip to get about anywhere in the city. Yes, I stayed in in 4 star hotels with directions to the Kiblah on the sealing where I can hear the Adhan from the Masjid 3 blocks away. Yes, the hotels didn’t serve any alcohol. Yes, I always have those experiences when I go to Malaysia. The difference this time was that I was able to experience working remote in Malaysia. I was able to see how I can live my life as an IT worker and the ease that I would have while working for a US company in the US but residing in Malaysia. I saw the opportunity that if you have some motivation to make it happen, you can start a business in Malaysia as a foreigner and make a life of it. I saw how life for a Muslim coming from a western background is a huge transition for such a Muslim, but it not a very difficult or uncomfortable. I saw how the Malaysian people have a nature and culture that allow others to come and live amongst them. If you are respectful and mindful that you are guest in their country, you can see the blessings in your hijrah.
جزاك الله خيرا For the detailed account brother. May Allāh ﷻ bless you. I will share this on my socials for others to learn from/be inspired by إن شاء الله
Dr Zakir Naik received 12-14 invitations from many countries for him to stay but he chose Malaysia. Here's why Dr Zakir Naik chose Malaysia to stay and live: 1. Malaysia is away from warzone because many muslims countries are in warzone especially the gulf countries 2. Away from or at least has little influence from the wrong/bad influences of the western countries 3. Malaysia is a country which has the strongest passport among the muslims countries. A Malaysian can travel to 185 countries without any visa strongest passport among the muslims countries. 4. Amongst the non-Arab muslims countries according to him an average malaysian is a more practicing muslims than any non-Arabs muslims. 5. The federal religion of Malaysia is Islam. source: ruclips.net/video/QdEUXiWo9Z0/видео.html
MasyaAllah…. After hearing this, I realised that there is so many things in my own country that I forgot to praise Allah for. Alhamdulillah….. Alhamdulillah….. Alhamdulillah. Thank you Allah for all the nikmat in Malaysia
Alhamdulillah. Tq for the compliments. We don't deserve it. Its all Allah's doing. We hope iman and taqwa embeded in all Muslims in Malaysia and all over the world.

Mashallah this podcast hit hard. I just came back from 2 week trip to Malaysia with my family (3 kids) and I seriously consider moving there. My concerns are source of income and how to support your family as incomes are quite low compared to west.
Perhaps akhi if there was a job that allowed you to work remotely maybe that could be a solution? So you get the benfits of maintaining high pay but still able to live in a place like malaysia.
Some people work in Singapore, but live in Johor Bahru (southern city of Malaysia). Just need to commute everyday. Maybe need to wait for the link project to complete for ease of traveling.
This reminds me when I was abroad studying in UK in my 20s. I came back to Malaysia during semester breaks and I realized how peaceful Malaysia is. I think the strong faith in religions especially Islam makes the people more solemn and calm. May Allah bless Malaysia .
As a Malaysian,i can say we always welcome whoever ur... But if ur muslim, and ur foreigner,is a bonus.. Me myslef personally,i’ll excited to meet other muslim when come to malaysia..feel more close and comfort to get along..😅
I travelled to almost 10 countries in my life. I would say my country Malaysia has the best overall. From the people food culture safety and everything. If the politics and money currencies are better than now. Malaysia is totally perfect. Honestly speaking 😋
Thank you brothers for your kind thoughts about Malaysia. We most welcome you and join us here and help us rebuild the Ummah.. we r 1 and undivided. Your brother from Kuala Lumpur.
jazakaAllaah khairaan for sharing. Between Egypt and Malaysia, I think Malaysia is far more better in many things like weather, technology and modern facilities, health care, government services and beautiful sea and islands
When i abroad, i miss raising my hand to stranger. We always do it to show gratitude including to non muslim. It's a funny feeling.. something that I take for granted when I'm in Malaysia 😅
Barakallahufikum guys. Thank you for the beautiful praises. As a Malay Muslim, It is trully part of our islamic culture to be kind, helpful, and generous to our guests.
As a Malaysian i can assure you can make hijrah here and practice Islam freely. Although there are some anti islamic movements here, as the other muslim countries are facing, but they are minorities anyway.. economic wise, ive got no comment about that 😅
@@OptimizedMuslim there are some movements which mainly pioneered by lawyers under the disguise of human rights on issues like hijab wearing, or the conversion of minors to islam, and recently the same group defending the right of this one comedian, sadly a muslimah, to make fun of her own religion. She was brought to justice but was bailed out using the fund that they claimed 'from the public' to give us the impression that we support her. This movement also related tightly with certain political parties here..but of course they will not announced it publicly although it is too obvious. Still, all of these stories are being sensationalized in the news and soc meds, which are also highly stained with political motives. If I were to say it in the view of my personal life, i can say nothing like that ever happened in front of my own eyes. My neighbor is chinese, we always exchange foods and gifts during each other festivals like families
We also has no problem to perform salah anywhere because we have musolla almost in every places; shopping malls, highways, offices, food courts, and even in a rock concert the organizer provides a place to pray.
I'm a Malaysian as an engineer living in urban / city life . its safe, conservative, but still a lot of growth need to be done. If you do your research, you can get good price good quality accommodation with nearby facilities and good food. if you don't prepared yess it will be expensive unless you live outside the big states
In Damansara I remember paying 1000 rm for a studio per month which came with a swimming pool and a gym well that was in 2012 now the same condo is giving studio for 800rm pm
Thanks, for all compliment. Our diversity with different races make us more respectful, and helpings each other. As Muslim we must be role model for different religions.
I have been living in this gorgeous country for almost 7 years and i am in love with it increasingly. Most important thing is to have a reasonable monthly income and everything else will be fine inshallah.
thank you so much.Everything are from Allah and Allah put us there in such.Your compliments are too much for us n do dua for us so our *ukhuwah* n our *faith* maintain firm as ever...Insya Allah. We will try about best for our religion n country.
As with any country in the world, you don't really know a place until you've lived there for a considerable amount of time. There's so much to love about Malaysia, but at the same time it has a lot of faults. I find that it always takes tourists to remind Malaysians of how wonderful their country is. But it is also needed of Malaysians to bring them back to reality and remind them that there is no utopian country and that there are many issues that lie deep in the country which needs addressing, but will never get addressed because of those in governance. Corruption is rife, money talks. Pre pandemic, Malaysia had one of the easiest long term visa programs to go for, MM2H. Now, you'd have to look into how many criteria have changed.
Stumble upon this video. Let us please take a look at following situation: A brother born and raised in a Muslim country saved an important amount of money after 3 decades of hard work. He planned to invest his money by setting up a company not just to make a profit for himself but also to hire young people and help them start new family. The issue he encountered was enormous than he expected as he had to go through different departments and every department has its own division and each division requires different forms. The issue doesn’t lie only in bureaucracy but also corruption as he is forced to pay bribe in every corner. As our brother is a practicing Muslim he categorically refused to give bribe, therefore his application became sluggish. When he complained about the situation, he was given different pretexts and excuses. Sadly our brother lost hope and withdrew his application after a long time waiting. One year later, he packed his luggage, transferred his money to a western country and applied for long term business visa. Not only he set up his company smoothly in a record time but prior to that he was offered free consultancy and brief training on business management. Our brother managed to settle down successfully in the Land of Kuffar without breaking the Islamic law but unfortunately he failed to complete that in the land of Islam. If we take a look at the list of the most corrupted countries in the world, with no surprise we will find that Muslim countries are topping the list. If we check the list of the most transparent countries/least corrupted countries in the world we will find the land of kuffar topping the list; Denmark 1st followed by Finland, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, and Sweden. The first least corrupt Muslim country is UAE standing in 24th position. Same goes for quality of life index and so on. During the era of our Messenger (ص), Hijrah was completed to land of Islam where Shariah was applied. As a consequence, justice system played its full role in safeguarding Muslims rights. Now, some people are advocating Hijrah claiming they want to revive Sunnah of Nabi (ص) by encouraging immigration from non-Muslim countries thinking their children will be raised according to Islamic teachings. Parents can try but the environment is harsh and it is more or less the same as in the west. Constitution of many Muslim countries states that Islam is the religion of the country but actually it is secular. You will find Haram everywhere, worse; in some countries faithful and practicing Muslims are monitored closely and they get intimidated constantly. You can’t in anyway do Dawah especially to criticize the governing body for misuse of power and injustice. If you can’t do Dawah in Muslim country then Mr. “Optimized Muslim”, how could you play an important role in order to contribute to the prosperity of the Muslim society? Isn’t our mission as Muslims is to advocate good and forbid evil? I am not saying practicing Islam in the west is easy but I strongly believe challenges are at the same level in both sides and if you are unable to adhere to Islamic teachings in the west then chances you will fail in a Muslim country is undeniable. I would be so grateful to you if you can enlighten me. Please check out this video of a Muslim brother reciting Quran in the street of Netherland: ruclips.net/video/KzHm5nZF89k/видео.html

Alhamdulillah…we as malaysian should be gratefull and syukur with how ALLAH grant us peacefull and considerate citizen despite being a multi racial country…..
It depends where you are from, they treat foreigners according to the their country and not as an individual. So if you belong to Europe, North America or got some good money , then yeah it's a nice place .
Malaysians are 'polite' in their eastern term of the word. They'd rather keep quite than commend someone like "hey! I love your tie". btw i'm malaysian.
My country is not Muslim utopia country... of course it has its flaws. But I'm glad that Allah had eased your journey during your stay... thanks for the good words though. All good are from Allah.
Remember... Malaysia is just 61% muslim..rest of it is non Muslim...but just how We can Make this Country a Muslim friendly country, everyone also Can make it....We don't need to be westernized to be Modern and adopt liberalism and secularism...Islam is always Modern and relevant in all times..
Malaysia is a great country but nowadays because of politicians ,we cant be sure in next future (in term of country finances) . Every country has dark side. But if you want to practicing Islam peacefully without being threaten. Yes Malaysia is good choice, lots of mosque , food is mostly halal. Cheap also if you come from higher currency country.

I respect people’s view on the matter but I believe Muslims living in western countries should stay where they are. This is one of the ways to introduce Islam to non-Muslims and also to defend Islam and Muslims from Islamophobia. If you were born there or your parents had emigrated there, it is because of a reason that Allah knows. For me, doing this kind of stuff or what you call “Hijrah” has no meaning unless you are financially unstable and you look for opportunities elsewhere. There is lots to say here about this but .....
@@OptimizedMuslim Yes I am Muslim Sir. I feel that the responsibility of every Muslim living in the West is to glorify Allah SWT and to sacrifice himself and belongings to the cause of Allah. Please don’t get me wrong when I mention about sacrifice because some will straight away think about violence. Islam is a peaceful religion and to sacrifice anything we can, we do it through patience. We keep our composure and patience because during our mission we will be hated and we will be exposed to all kind of mistreatment and so forth… Just let us think about our converted brothers and sisters and the daily struggle they go through in their own country being chased from their family homes and work as well. Shouldn’t we learn from them? How can we fulfil our obligation of defending Islam by making “Hijrah”? If everyone flee the scene, who will fight legally about Muslim rights in the West? Who will fight for our mothers and sisters right to wear Hijab? What benefit will Hijrah bring to us? So sorry to say this but I see Hijrah as quitting the field of battle as a loser unless you move to a Muslim country because someone cant survive in the west due to the luck of opportunities and then in this case we should not call this Hijrah.
@@ferdinandroger4134 guidance is upon Allah swt, the west already know what islam is and most of them reject it and even hate it. Muslims are getting oppressed, killed and hate crimed, niqab ban everywhere and hijab ban is following. Even where its legal girls are scared of putting on hijab. Sooner or later we cant practice our religion anymore and then hijrah becomes wajib. Quran 4:97
@@K.w897 In this case please seek Hijrah and do it soonest. I dont have this problem and many people i know are fine living in the west doing Daawah and guiding others to right path. No one is forcing you to live in the west. All the best to you.
Salam Alaikum. I have been searching for ways to make Hijra and live in Malaysia Insha’Allah. Unfortunately there isn’t a clear step by step guide on how someone can simply reside in Malaysia without having a work permit or investing in Malaysia. I understand Malaysia has 90 days free entry. I would like to stay in Malaysia for at least 1 year before deciding to live there for good. How can I make this possible with the 90 days visa? I found that there is a Visa-Run method which allows me to extend my stay by leaving Malaysia and re-entering the country however, i was told upon entering they might refuse you a visa. Lastly, how does someone rent a property in Malaysia with the 90 days visa. (I have intentions to stay there for 1 year minimum before deciding to move there for good) renting is the cheaper option then hotels and Airbnb. So how would I convince agencies to allow me to rent with this short visa ? Please make videos on these topics. It would really help many people. I been up all night searching and searching and still nothing that is clear is available online. Most of the videos regarding Malaysia visa on RUclips are Urdu or Hindi language. (Btw I live in London)
وعليكم السلام ورحمة الله وبركاته Please contact the make hijrah brothers about this. Sorry I can't assist you further. Have you recently checked out their website?
I live in the west and I do practice my religion free of any hassle or issues. When it comes to Friday prayers, I ask for a break to go to Mosque and my request is always approved. I have non-Muslim friends and they respect me a lot the same way I respect them. I always do my best to give a good image about myself as a Muslim, at times it is hard but I feel that this is my role and duty because the purpose of our creation is to serve Allah. People who immigrated to a Muslim country claiming Hijrah from a shirk country is a must, they know nothing about Sunnah and how our Messenger PBUH handle this situation, kindly check it out. If you do not belong to a country where Muslims are prosecuted and are subject to mass killing then your conviction is baseless. If your faith is strong and you do not fear for yourself and kids from temptation and the illicit stuff then your claim have no grounds. Some people claim they must move to a Muslim country to strengthen their faith but how can they do that if they failed the test of keeping their composure and patience living in a non-Muslim country? According to statistics, there are more than 30 million Muslims living in Europe and North America not counting Muslims of America Latina, Oceania and other non-Muslim countries. So if we follow their logic, between 30 and 40 million Muslims must leave the land of shirk to start a new life in a Muslim country. Does this have any common sense? Some claim that only Muslims intending to further their study or seeking medical care or performing Dawah can temporarily move to the west. Isn’t this hypocrisy? If you wish to boycott the west then please dare to boycott technology materials they have invented? Most importantly, can people who have immigrated to a Muslim country do Dawah by criticizing the leaders of Muslim countries "where they have chosen to reside" for not applying Islamic Shariah? I wish to get a satisfactory answer to my questions despite my conviction that would not get any. Thank you
Thanks for taking the time to post this comment. In order to engage in a meaningful discussion, we have to establish if there is a shared notion of the sources of our knowledge and morality. Obviously, you are Muslim so that's great ماشاءالله. However, the points you have made would lead me to assume (and correct my assumption please - that's why I'm asking) that you do not seem to factor the traditional scholarly position on the matter of living in non-Muslim lands. If you do not base your positions on the normative teachings of islam, then there is little point in me engaging. You have made various points seemingly from your own reasoning which, with respect, holds zero relevance in the face of the traditional teachings. Part of me would love to engage on all of the smaller points you mentioned but it would largely just be for argument sake and not have any real benefit.
@@OptimizedMuslim Kindly do know that Islamic jurisprudence or what your good-self call “traditional scholarly position” are merely opinions and are not revelation. Therefore, we can't choose from them what suits us from Fatwa and judgements and leave what does not suit us. Rather, some of them are worthy of selection according to the balance of scrutiny and weighting and some of them are worthy of subtraction and neglect according to criteria. You know well that we take religious knowledge mainly from Quran and Hadith. Hence, I wonder if you really know what Hijrah is and in which circumstances it was revealed, why, how and when we should make it. I can willingly help you attach here evidence from Quran and Sunnah and which would demonstrate clearly that your perspective is not based on the normative teachings of Islam. Therefore, there is a little point in me engaging if you are not willing to refer to our main source of religious teachings. Based on that, I strongly believe your reasoning hold zero relevance in the face of Islamic teachings derived from Quran and Sunnah. Calling facts I mentioned in my first comment as small points is an attempt to evade discussion. These facts are real and very important and It would be really beneficial for people who got misled by some individuals who haven’t done much effort to understand the concept and real teachings of Islam. Thank you!
@@OptimizedMuslim * Sheikh Dr. Yusuf Al-Qaradawi raised this matter of Hijrah in the twenty-third episode of the “Fiqh Al-Hayat program” and said: (As for the ruling on residing in the country of polytheism for the purpose of work and study for instance, whoever is capable of safeguarding his faith, Islamic principles; can perform his religious rituals freely and has enough religious knowledge to help him stand against any suspicions then it is permissible for him to stay in this land”. in same intervention, Sheikh Dr. Yusuf Al-Qaradawi wondered “How does Islam spread in the world if there was no Hijrah? Moreover, some of Muslim countries are unable to provide work for its Muslim people and Allah Almighty says: “And whoever emigrates in the way of God will find on the earth many and abundant means.” (An-Nisa: 100). *Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen in his Fatwa about this matter said: “Immigration to the land of polytheism is permissible if 3 conditions are met: 1- The person should have knowledge with which he can keep himself away from suspicions. 2- The person should have enough faith to stop him doing Haram. 3- The person in need of work, study, medical treatment or any other necessity. * It is narrated on the authority of Amirul Mu'minin, Abu Hafs 'Umar bin al-Khattab (ra) who said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: "Actions are (judged) by motives (niyyah), so each man will have what he intended. Thus, he whose migration (hijrah) was to Allah and His Messenger, his migration is to Allah and His Messenger; but he whose migration was for some worldly thing he might gain, or for a wife he might marry, his migration is to that for which he migrated." [Bukhari & Muslim] I hope this helps. Thank you
No one is saying it is impermissible to make hijrah to a non Muslim country. The argument is that we should strive/intend to move to Muslim lands once there is no longer a necessity. 1- The person should have knowledge with which he can keep himself away from suspicions. 2- The person should have enough faith to stop him doing Haram. 3- The person in need of work, study, medical treatment or any other necessity. Are we confident the above 3 are met in the vast majority of people's case? Especially the final point. If someone is financially stable and can reasonably sustain themselves it is not a necessity.

4 days ago, I just came back from a 6 week trip in Malaysia. I have been mildly depressed ever sense coming back. If you can make Hijra there, it’s place to go.
Thanks for contributing here. What was the best thing about your trip?

Dr Zakir Naik received 12-14 invitations from many countries for him to stay but he chose Malaysia. Here's why Dr Zakir Naik chose Malaysia to stay and live:
1. Malaysia is away from warzone because many muslims countries are in warzone especially the gulf countries
2. Away from or at least has little influence from the wrong/bad influences of the western countries

Thanks for the thoughtful comment

Are you Muslim?

That's good
Thank you so much❤
I live in the west and I do practice my religion free of any hassle or issues.
Thank you!
🙂Please share the evidences

* Sheikh Dr.
*Sheikh Ibn Uthaymeen in his Fatwa about this matter said: “Immigration to the land of polytheism is permissible if 3 conditions are met:
1- The person should have knowledge with which he can keep himself away from suspicions.
2- The person should have enough faith to stop him doing Haram.
3- The person in need of work, study, medical treatment or any other necessity.
* It is narrated on the authority of Amirul Mu'minin, Abu Hafs 'Umar bin al-Khattab (ra) who said:
I heard the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) say: "Actions are (judged) by motives (niyyah), so each man will have what he intended. Thus, he whose migration (hijrah) was to Allah and His Messenger, his migration is to Allah and His Messenger; but he whose migration was for some worldly thing he might gain, or for a wife he might marry, his migration is to that for which he migrated." [Bukhari & Muslim]
I hope this helps. Thank you
No one is saying it is impermissible to make hijrah to a non Muslim country.
Allah swt is always available to exist before the big bang (refer to Prof Darwin - but Prof Darwin said that existence is a big bang for Islam to exist there is no beginning)
Then born human fusion of various endowed intellect them realized the leadership of Adam - Ibrahim - Isa alaihissalam - also Adam - Ibrahim - Muhammad saw the last Al -Mahdi.
When all mankind in brotherhood have no burden peace in mind with permission long live will be extended to the endless afterlife.
Speakers of peace have to be one by one and there is no compulsion, just the mind to think right or wrong.
