Ocean looks like you're getting very close to being able to reload 375 Raptor. I would recommend that you pick up a set of go, no-go gauges for 375 Raptor. With these Wildcat cartridges it's really important to make sure your head space is correct. Good luck with it and I can't wait to see some video footage of you shooting your new AR. Echo
Hi there.. i found out about the .375 raptor several months ago and i love the idea of a harder punch thru the ar10 platform. Im currently building an aero precision lr308 in .375 raptor with a 8.5" barrel. That should be dead accurate to 250-300 yards is what im hearing. Great info and goodluck. I know this is an old video but i would love to see updates on this powerhouse. Thanks again.
@@ocean374 i know your building/built a bolt gun and that should be more accurate given the system. This round is capable of taking down any game animal in north america.
Do you have load data for semi-auto like AR10 use? I would like to use 275 grain speer bullets. I have an AR10 in 375 Raptor that someone assembled for me and I bought some loaded ammo. My original contact is no longer around, I think Covid got him. I waa able to get a set of reloading dies when they were available. I have not reloaded myself.
No the load data I have it was tested for my bolt action if you go to the raptor website they have AR10 load data there if you use that data start low it’s on the warm side mine was no were near there’s. every brass thickness is different and every powder lot is different
No because the Sierra Bullet has a bow tail if that’s happening give it a little mouth flair so it starts a little easier so it won’t crush the shoulder
Ok so you can use 308 cases but witch bullet can you use with witch mold are you going to use if I have any bullet you need I’m just one call away Mr. Julio
Piece by piece. Hawk bullets may have jacketed bullet for that cartridge. They’re probably expensive though. I know they have bullets for the 375 and 38-55 Winchester.
another hobby you should look into is bullet swaging you can take old pistol or split rifle brass and turn them into bullets just soften the cleaned brass then insert non lubed soft lead bullets inside the brass and pull the swager lever and out comes food for your rifle.... there will be a shortage for the next 4 years.... just saying..... this guy makes tooling ruclips.net/video/kwNQDS-ZHFM/видео.html
Thanks for the update. Such a cool round. I can hear the steal ringing already:)
Thanks you’re welcome 😊
That's awesome! Looks likes a really fun cartridge 🇺🇸👍👊
Thanks looking forward to the project completion 👍👍
Little by little, it all comes together, always enjoy the vids Julio! Mike
Thank you mike 👍👍

Hey man you ever have issues with the bullet seating process crushing the shoulder?

Bullet size is .375 and cast Bullet would be .377
