Thanks. I would love to see more of the 45 Raptor on here. Big bore AR 10's are getting more popular.

I think this is my issue with my build. Thanks for the video and info.

I would love to see a PMAG D-50 (The 7.62 variant of the PMAG Drum mag) take this ammo.

For what it's worth, I've been using a Lancer magazine with no modification whatsoever, and haven't had any problems.

Would the modification be similar for AICS style magazines?

Arne, you think an M1A mag would pose an issue?

Problem is m1a mags are metal and cannot have the forward rib depth reduced to allow larger neck diameter cartridges like 338 Federal, 358 Winchester or 375 Raptor.

What do you think about this cartridge in something like a customized m1a socom 16 with an adjustable gas plug?

is this more powerful than a 50. beowulf and the 338. federal what are the range of this caliber 100 -300 yards

The 375 Raptor was designed for use out to 300 yards in carbine length rifles. Here is a comparison of the 375 RAPTOR to different cartridges:
50 Beowulf - .499 caliber 300 grain Hornady XTP MAG bullet at 1,900 fps results in a +/- 3 inch flight trajectory of just under 165 yards with approximately 820 foot pounds of energy at that range.
458 SOCOM - .458 caliber 325 grain Hornady FTX at 1,860 fps, results in a +/- 3 flight trajectory just under 180 yards with just over 1,299 foot pounds of energy at that range.
450 Bushmaster - .452 caliber 250 grain Hornady FTX at 2,150 fps results in a +/- 3 inch flight trajectory of 200 yards with 1,176 ft pounds of energy at that range.
45 RAPTOR - .452 caliber 250 grain Hornady FTX at 2,450 fps results in a +/- 3 inch flight trajectory of 225 yards with energy of 1,429 ft pounds at that range.
375 RAPTOR - .375 caliber 260 grain Nosler Accubond at 2,300 fps results in a +/- 3 inch trajectory of 240 yards with 2,069 foot pounds of energy at that range.
Compared to the 50 BEOWULF, the 375 RAPTOR has 145% greater range with a +/-3 inch flight trajectory and 252% greater terminal energy at that increased range. Comparing to the 458 SOCOM, the 375 RAPTOR has 133% greater range and 159% greater terminal energy at that increased range. Compared to the 450 Bushmaster, 120% greater range and 176% greater terminal energy at that increased range.

First, thankyou for the visual guide to help with this. The video was very clear and helpful. For what its worth I found the following tweak a little bit easier to your method... 1) place tower on counter 2) lay disassembled mag flat ontop of the shop towel w/ opening (file entry area) aligned with edge of counter 3) use a quick clamp at counter edge and top of mags backside/top corner. 4) file inside pressing down parrallel and flat with the counter holding both ends of the file.
