Update: Restaurant has a 4-star rating and amazing overall reviews still to this day. Comments on the food, service, and overall restaurant are really good. Still open through Covid and apparently doing well through it. The menu still seems to be the edited down one that Ramsey helped improve which is cool. Every time I watch these I come to find out the restaurant closed lol, this one is actually a happy ending!
I loved this episode and the whole turnaround of the restaurant itself. I loved how emotional the daughter was ( the crying one) she is very beautiful too! That poor girl so stressed out! So nice to see her smiling and happy in the end!
EVERYONE ELSE? What did the chefs do? What did Tariya do? Nothing to both. The father's denial, the mother's inability to keep trying to talk sense into her husband, and the other daughter being incompetent with food safety were the ones causing Yanni's to fall apart at the seams
I am happy for this family because when they put all afford of all family members to one workplace, they not only have to get money but they also need to survive. All main income of this family is from this restaurant, so they have to seriously change to get their restaurant back in success
Can't believe that of all the restaurants - this one actually adapted and is STILL OPEN! Wow. Great job, Gordon. Also, kudos to the original Karen, who never once acted like a Karen, so nice.
The older sister still comforts the younger when shes crying, even though Alyse is totally dismissive of Tiriyas feelings and doesnt offer any emotional support to her at all. She could easily become bitter and spiteful towards her little sister but chooses not to. That's love right there. And for the people saying Tiriya is crying for no reason, GET A CLUE. Shes crying because her family has become totally dysfunctional. They are drowning and debt, and she doesnt know how to fix it! That level of stress is enough to break anyone emotionally.
@Smattless Hello, there... Giving her space to work out her own emotions is one thing. Ignoring her is another. Getting in her face and yelling "STOP CRYING" is disrespectful and counterproductive. What Alyse was doing is abusive.

Pro Tip: telling someone constantly and aggressively to stop crying, wont stop the crying
Well... if a man does that to another man who is crying he will stop 95% of time. I hate this "a man has to be hard and emotionless... never cries..." clishee (sorry i dont know how to spell this word on english)
Me personally... i never scream or yell just so someone stops crying no matter the gender. Men HAVE feelings too... if they cry in our critical and heartless society that is always pushing emotions down... there will be a VERY GOOD REASON. Help! Do not ignore!

The wife is a trooper. She keeps her head on straight when everyone else is falling apart and has good sense. She should be the boss.
EVERYONE ELSE? What did the chefs do? What did Tariya do? Nothing to both. The father's denial, the mother's inability to keep trying to talk sense into her husband, and the other daughter being incompetent with food safety were the ones causing Yanni's to fall apart at the seams

And for the people saying Tiriya is crying for no reason, GET A CLUE. Shes crying because her family has become totally dysfunctional. They are drowning and debt, and she doesnt know how to fix it! That level of stress is enough to break anyone emotionally.
