A very interesting trip. I believe the State should invest a little more on better traction locos and coaches for safety reasons. The tracks also need to be constantly maintained. This is a heritage asset and can bring tourist revenue. 😀👍

There are a few timing from Beaufort. You can check the schedule from railway.sabah.gov.my Depending on your journey, if you are doing day trip, then take the earlier train to Tenom, so that you can catch the train back to Beaufort on the same day. Tips: when heading to Tenom, the right side will have a better view Enjoy the nature and also experience the life of the locals. Some of them really depend on this train as their main transportation.
