Tend to go straight for the welder these days, washer then weld a nut on nice and hot combines getting a face to yank on and heating it up steps together into 1 move.
Must have shifted thousands of em over the years, the really fun ones are the peugeout key bolts in alloy wheels.
Over tighten one of those and Break the key teeth.
Ive seen guys ending up just cutting through the whole wheel after trying every trick in the book.
The last resort is exhaust paste on the wheel to orotect the finish.
Then weld a 2 inch blob of steel onto the bolt and hit it with a air hammer to turn it.
