This video explaining the game is so much better than that one video with freakin ukelele. Couldnt concentrate on that video explaing the rules. Thank you so much
I have 7 pieces of advice for you and others: 1: He didn't mention that when after dealing players their cards, you should put back 1 fewer exploding kittens than players playing, AND the remaining defuses. (for 2 player you take out 2 defuses from the game.) 2: Some people prefer to deal 7 cards instead of 4. I prefer 4 because it prevents players from getting stacked early. 3: When you are dealing the deck, you should make sure you do not see the patterns on the defuses you deal, because all cards have unique patterns. Players could memorize the patterns on other player's defuse cards, and if they use a defuse with a different pattern than they started with to defuse an exploding kitten, you will know that they probably drew another defuse in the deck. You should also do this with exploding kittens for games with more than 2 players. 4: There are special combos, and I don't feel like they are for advanced play. After I played my first game, I tried them out and I found them easy to learn! It's not so hard to learn. 5: Some people play with different types of decks, so make sure you say what type of deck you are using, and if you are using special combos or not. 6: If you want to play with more than 5 people, (5 is the max for the original edition and the NSFW edition) combine 2 classic or NSFW decks together,tt or play the party pack version. 7: If you want to learn some tips, look them up.
What If I use 5 diff. Icons for combos: 1. Should it be 5 cards on hand or even if i have morethan 5cards, as long as there are 5 cards with different icons, i can use it as a combo? 2. Shall I reveal these 5 different cards to all the players to justify my combo? Thanks for advise.
you have to play all of those 5 cards for the combo, so: 1. you can have more than 5 cards in your hand, it doesn't matter. 2. you play them and they are revealed.
@@catherinepaner2886 In normal rules this is not a thing. For two attack cards it’s supposed to draw 3, but the cards remaining are most like Exploding Kittens since they cannot be taken out of the deck unless someone dies.
Before the game, the creator had the site The Oatmeal. A series of webcomics and other funny illustrations. That begot books. Then the games. Then the Netflix series.
So, this could also be called exploding rocks, exploding cows, exploding cars or anything else. The game has no connection with cats except for the name and drawings, which could have been something else entirely.
I have a question. If I successfully pull off a 3 of a kind combo and they have multiple of the card I ask for do they have to give all of the card or just 1.
I have a question: use 5 different cards with 5 different icons, or 2 or 3 cards in those 5 cards have a same icon For example that i play these 5 cards: Beard cat - beard cat - rainbow cat - taco cat - beard cat Then can i use the 5 cards combo?
what do you do when you run out of cards in the draw pile? 'cus even though the instructions said you will never run out of cards in the draw pile, i did.
That shouldn’t be possible because you’re supposed to put the exploding kitten back in the draw deck if you diffuse it. That makes it so that every player except one will be eliminated.
Wow, I just got this game and it doesn't seem nearly as fun as I always thought it would be. There's pretty much zero strategy and although it says on the box the game can be played with only 2 people, it doesn't seem like it would be fun with any less than 4. Even then, it's like a Rick and Morty interdimensional cable scene where the creators of this game just made the rules up on the spot and just decided to stick with whatever their first idea was, without considering if it would be any fun or make any sense.

I don't agree. Matthew has a beautiful voice
The more common rule is as follows: During setup, deal 7 cards instead of 4 along with 1 Defuse card (4+1=5, 7+1=8).
Eh aren't u talking about the 1v1 edition
@@Hello-bn8yh I just bought the game today, and this is what it says in the instructions. And its the standard edition.
I reckon it’d be a hoot playing exploding kittens at this dudes place. I love the dinner plates on the wall😀
Some variations still only use cat cards for pairs or three of a kind.

Good explanation sir,
May I ask a question?
What does someone need to do two turn mean? Do he need to draw two card?
He draws 2 cards but he can play cards between the 2 turns@@najmeeazwir9527
Best video on this game!

The creators of EK actually made their own "how to play" video.
so glad youre back!
Watched 03.04.2023 Thank you for the instruction how to play

Update: since 2020 cat cards gained instructions on the bottom of the card
The illustrator from The Oatmeal did the illustrations? Noice!
I didn't know that a simple card game that now turned into an Original Animated Series by Netflix.

Can someone pls explain the rule for me in brief again?😊
What happens if a player cheats?
Gets a exploding kitten card but says nothing?
Then you find new people who don’t cheat to play with
@@TripleSGames 😂😂☺️
The player who yells “I start” first goes first.
Bruh wut
@@MrHungpham01 It’s a game based off luck, so going first doesn’t give anyone an advantage. This is why the “I start” rule usually applies.
I have a question. If I successfully pull off a 3 of a kind combo and they have multiple of the card I ask for do they have to give all of the card or just 1.
They have to give just one if it

Hey bro, lots of love here for your tutorials
What happens if you run out of draw cards? Reshuffle the discard pile and use that? Or is it impossible to run out before the game is over?
Game ends
It’s impossible to run out because Exploding Kittens must be in the deck.
@@MrHungpham01no, it dosn't

Can you use a nope card on a diffuse card?

Nah man, that'd sound illegal anyways.
No
I mean, why would someone want to do that?
No.

9 exploding KITTENS!?
Suggestion: How to play Tri-ominos
If using a attack your turn is over
If you draw a exploding kitten and has no defuse card, the exploding kitten is discarded too? or the player puts back in the draw pile?
You put it in the discard pile
bruhhhh
7 cards
Ok.... What?

If my friend don't tell me that he got bomb card

As triple s games said, you get new friends that don't cheat.😂

What if one player ends up with only 3 defuse cards?
Then they have 3 defuse cards, it's part of the game

dude you're supposed to hand out 7 cards to people
Im trying to find a tutorial to show my friends and videos keep making the same mistake
just tell them to use 7 cards then bruh
You can hand 4 cards for a harder game or 7 cards for somewhat simpler game
