- A card game where you explode and then come back to life and then maybe explode again.
Give “nine lives” a whole new meaning. In Zombie Kittens, exploding just means you’ll have a chance to rise from the grave and take your revenge. Bring back your friends (and enemies) in this undead spin on your favorite Russian Roulette style kitten card game.

This version (I hesitate to call it an expansion) is pretty awesome, keeps everyone involved all the time. 5:32 I think is the most important mechanic in the game that they sort of glaze over for those used to the regular game because I kept forgetting while first playing is that if you get an Exploding Kitten *you do not have to play the “defuse” zombie card, you can just choose to die hoping you’ll get resurrected. More than likely you will since someone will draw a bomb soon, not want out and then you both come back on their turn since you’re the only one dead but still have a zombie/defuse card and will last longer.

For me, this is the coolest expansion. Cool illustrations, mechanics and cards. I've ordered this and it's coming on Friday... hopefully. I don't mind not getting the other expansion as I was thinking of making custom cards. Can't wait!!!

The Zombie kitten acts just like a defuse card
But unlike defuse cards, the Zombie kitten card can bring back an exploded player back into the game

But how many zombie kittens would I put in when I make a mega game by expanding both the base game (exploding kittens) and Zombie kittens? I’m guessing either you put 1 defuse and 1 zombie kitten in the deck instead of putting 2 defuses in the deck? Idk

Hello, my family and I love playing this game. I've got a question if I draw an exploding kitten and choose not to use my zombie kitten, can I use it later when it would be my turn if no one brings me back to life? I've read in the rules that the zombie kitten can be played by itself or combined with an exploding kitten.
Hi Javiar! The Zombie Kitten is the most powerful card in the game. These are the only cards that can save you from an Exploding Kitten. If you draw an Exploding Kitten, instead of dying, you can play the Zombie Kitten and reinsert the Exploding Kitten back into the Draw Pile anywhere you’d like in secret. If any of the other players are Dead when you play a Zombie Kitten, you have to choosemone of them to bring back to life. Try to get as many Zombie Kitten cards as you can.

It could include an all new discover card where you search for a card type you do not have in your hand. If you find any exploding kittens, you may place them anywhere you like in the deck privately.

I have a question, can we add this to the base game like an expansion. If so, zombie kittens will be the only way to get out of the death in this game. So it’s like to different systems.
I can’t see why not maybe take a few defuses out so there’s a chance to play the dead/zombie cards for 5 or less players. All the expansions work

it is nots its a knew card game with all new cards and mechanics witch u can play on its own or with the other expansions

Also for your first question. It’s kind of both tbh. It can be played as a full game with is own exploding kittens and 61 cards, but to people who aren’t new to the franchise, they suggest the idea of adding it to the base game with their other various expansions as they have the same back of the card.
It says right on the box that it can be either a stand alone game or you can add the cards to the original game.

Help! If i need to draw 6 card due to an attack combos and while drawing i draw an attack card and after it i play it i have to draw 3 more cards or i completely skip those draws?
The official rules is that you can “stack and pass” the attacks (unlike the official Uno rules), but we do not play this, especially because towards the end when the bombs condense (the draw pile ends up not being that big to begin with) it just screws the next player in line by default, especially the “3 turns per dead player”…should’ve been just two honestly. Making someone possibly have to draw/pass/pass the attack on 9+ times immediately is a bit much. With my family and nephew we just consider any attack card a reset to whatever the attack number on the last played card
(like a modified pass) it prolongs the game a bit more and doesn’t make it look like you’re ganging up on someone…Conversely we DO play the stack and pass rule with Uno, because the mechanics are a lot more straightforward.
With my friends/peers it depends on the consensus, it’s either or depending on the group or the size of the deck (the party deck is larger so we play the written rule).

Does anyone know what happend If the Draw pile is empty?
Should not happen, should there be a last card on the draw pile, it's always gonna be an Exploding kitten
Will this be added on the mobile game?
Probably at some point in the future, considering how many new cards there are that can definitely be used like Clone and Clairvoyance.

Watched 03.04.2023 I repeat watching the video and now I understand it. Well in NSFW version there is a Zombie Cat. Maybe I can apply the rules for zombie kitten with that Zombie cat.
What’s the point the zombie kitten is just a glorified defuse card but now you have to screw yourself over the whole fun of card games is screwing your friends over not to help them

3 players play with 33 cards? 21 of which are handed out at the beginning of the game and then 3 zombie kittens. That’s only 9 cards in the draw pile plus 2 Exploding Kittens? Surely that can’t be correct?

This is a bad expansion, because the main cards does the same thing as the defuses. I love the franchise, but I am skipping this expansion.
More than a expansion, is another version of the original Game (like nsfw) and there are done new cards that you can see un the guide
