Thank You Neil, Thank You Ralph, Thank You Pancho, and Thank You Billy. And hey Billy - Go Bruins! Neil Young and Crazy Horse, The World's Third Best Garage Band, I heard that somewhere once.
@Neil Young If you can and have time in your schedulle. Please, come to play in Brazil - you have many fans here would love and see you. You have a such talent to make lives better with so many songs. God Bless you.
Awesome tone! A Gibson guitar through a Fender amp with Neil's signature reverb on steroids. Brilliant. Can't believe I was so lucky as to be in Santa Cruz when this show happened and to be able to sort of relive it now 30 years later.
I love this song! I recently played it over and over for two hours on my way to my country home. I was belting out: "I'm thankful for my country home. It gives me peace of mind. Somewhere I can walk alone and leave my self behind." Thank you Neil for putting my life to your songs and being the background music to my life.
Ragged Glory has always been my fave w The Horse. Just heard the album track on Sirius and it brought tears...absolutely beautiful. This live version is stunning. Thanks Neil and "Long Live The Horse"...
In an industry increasingly beset by artifice and fakery, this is an absolute joy. Four guys rocking out, loving every minute and it`s completely real. If it doesn`t lift your spirits you`re dead. Long may they run....
I proper came to NY in 1990 working in a record store in London. Weld came out and some of the guys in their late 20s stuck it on LOUD and said "listen to this!" and Farmer John belted out. That was it. MY country home.
@@freevue Are we related? There are only two people in Rock that are worthy of the term "genius" - Bob Dylan and Neil Young. A huge amount of brilliant music over a long period of time.
@@neilyoung3667 Since I first heard "For What It's Worth", the first track by Buffalo Springfield that was played on radio here in Tasmania. In case you are interested, the last few months I have been converting tracks that are supposedly Mono, but are not, into Mono. Have you experienced this problem? Cheers from Tassie.
I was lucky enough to get this whole album on a bootleg 12 years before it came out...called "Cowgirl in the Santa Cruz "....awesome....best version ever of this song !
When I went to see him last..there was Old Black sitting on it's stand with Larry Cragg (?) doing his stuff preparing for Neil...I actually cried a bit..what a wuss, but the emotions were real🎼🎸
I live in SC County and remember Neil played the Catalyst under a "secret band name". This doesn't seem to be Mirror Ball era so I missed this one. I crank the shit outta this song on Sunday's while I make breakfast for the family, Eggs, Bacon and toast. Later, I replay this and do my best to jam over it with my guitar...I love the record...I love the song...I love Neil. He along with AC/DC and the two most important bands in my life. I love you Neil. Fuck David Crosby...we all love you Neil. Your musical contribution to the world is second to none. I have all your records and have attended many Bridge School benefits, (sometimes just to support the school, other times to get my fill of NY). This song makes me want to get high with the spring air while I have my coffee in the back yard. Come back to Monterey Bay, Aptos is here.
Wow what a mess with texting. I loved the version of “Country Home” and the Instrumental parts before and after the Vocals. So refreshing. So lovely. Thanks Donna❣️

Nobody rocks like Neil, long may he rock on 🤘
Neil is my favorite guitar Player. He is no Eddie Van Hallen or Malmsteen but he’s playing with his heart. Intuitive music.
What he’s playing (and wrote) with is musicality and melodic brilliance. Much harder to come by that than just guitar flash.
SERIOUSLY Is Neil's guitar solo better than Roger Waters solo on Comfortably Numb?
@@josephregan9321 Roger Waters is the bass player man. You mean David Gilmour.
Yeah… You pick a hard one. But I Am still with Neil. More organic.

Thankful for my Country home 🏠. Love my 57 Les Paul standard. Thank Canada for Neil Young 🤠🇺🇸🇨🇦✌️
I love a song where the guitar sings as much as the vocals. 🎸
Exactly, long intro, long outro, long solo ... works for me too 🎸🎸🎸
True. Sometimes when both of them are slightly off-tune (a Neil Young speciality), it makes it even better :-)

Crazy Horse was a Band of Brothers. They rocked together...so loose yet so tight. And their music sang.
An honour to experience this moment🎼💞🙏⚘
