Insanity level tip:
The game has a hidden timer mechanic that forces you to do "Elusive Man asignments" at some points, you won't have access to the galaxy map, you'll have to do his mission first.
These missions are "Horizon colony attack" and "Disabled Collector Ship".
The first one triggers right after you recruit 4 squadmates including Mordin.
After Horizon, you have 4 missions left before the Elusive Man forces you to go on the Collector Ship mission, regardless of your level and upgrades.
If you're not aware of it you can easily get trapped in doing the Collector Ship mission with a pretty weak commando, and have a real bad time.
So...
Right after you get the Normandy, don't recruit Mordin Solus immediately as you're told, that's a mistake, there's another way, cause you can spend all the time in the world, do all available missions and quests, the Horizon mission can't trigger till you recruit Mordin Solus, he is mendotary for it.
The only issue with that is that you won't be able to upgrade your stuff, but you'll be able to do Zaeed and Kasumi's loyalty missions, recruit Jack, Grunt, Archangel, do all Omega and Citadell side quests, do about 4 or 5 assignments, Firewalker missions, and the Overlord DLC, gathering a good amount of exp right before even recruiting Mordin.
Some of these can be pretty tough without access to the upgrade feature, but they are doable for experienced players.
If you do that, you can be at level 17 when going on Horizon with some advanced upgrades, wich makes it way easier.
Then after Horizon, you have 4 missions left before Collector Ship, but that's not exactly true, cause in fact it only count your travels AKA the number of times you come back on board of the Normandy.
So, what you wanna do, is Loyalty missions, because they usually won't have you back on board of the Normandy, exemple Miranda's loyalty mission leave you on Ilium once achieved, so you can do three more missions up here and the game will only count 3 Normandy boarding.
You can start with Ilium, do Miranda's loyalty, recruit Thane and Samara, then do the Shadow Broker DLC, then go to Tuchanka, do Mordin and Grunt's loyalty quests, that way you should be at level 25/26 with some level 5 upgrades, so the collector Ship mission should not be a problem.
I known about being forced to do a mission but Im sure it won't make you miss anything. But as long as you just doing all the missions you'll be fine either way. And always save so you can go back if need be lol. So with mordin being a necessary story mission just do everything before that basically
Every time you complete anything off ship talk to Joker first before taking the lift in the ship. He always has something funny to say.
Joker never let me down 😂
If you do any missions after IFF the crew will die, but if the missions are loyalty missions, you can do two and no one dies.
Thank you so much, got through the suicide mission perfectly with your help. Its my first time playing the series and I appreciate all the tips
Of course, glad it worked perfectly. The series is amazing. I'm sure you'll love 3
great video. I'm obsessed with this universe. gameplay. this is the only other game that gives me a similar feeling of Deus ex Depth. existing in the world.
I feel the same, absolutely love this universe. ME really has me feeling all kinds of good and just the vast imagination of space.and dues ex was amazing as well. the potential for cybernetic altercations for human advancement. The phone game sucked though 😂
Finish shadow broker dlc after doing Liara sidequest ASAP, those investments and free mats is amazing to have later
Exactly, easy resources at the end.
When scanning planets with anomalies, try to get some resources inside of the reticule and the anomaly too. At the south and north ends of a planet usually has high resource spikes...esp for Element Zero
@2:39 massafuck. Lmao
Yeah I don't know what I was trying to say at first 😂
People start dying because they are not loyal. Loyalty missions are a MUST for SHIP UPGRADES. EVERYONE MUST BE LOYAL. YOU MUST PURCHASE ALL SHIP UPGRADES. ZAHAAD DOESN'T HAVE ANY SHIP UPGRADES, BUT MUST BE LOYAL. THAT'S ALL YOU NEED.
They don't all have to be loyal. But I think 3 or 4 ship upgrades are required. The shielding, the cannons and one or two more I can't remember off the top of my head. But being loyal definitely helps but it's like a point system. If your points are too low more than likely you will lose a few people. But higher points almost guarantees everyone will survive
On PC, use this mod...Nova. It is amazing to help you out.
Hi! How come you managed to get both Paragon and Renegade points at maximum?! It was in one play through? Thanks!🙏
@@pedrosalazar88 the glitch at the beginning I did that for maybe 30 minutes and stopped 😂 but you have to import from previous character and mix and match your choices and then when you upgrade you skills the one at the bottom gives a huge boost to renegade and paragon.
@@pedrosalazar88 and yes it was one playthrough
Jacob Upgrades Ship Armor
I couldn't remember. Because as soon as they had that upgrade I instantly got it 😂
Okay
“The always saving” got me to 216. save in ME1 now😅 I’m returning player and on my first play throughout I had to go back about 30-40% of the game bcs I didn’t like the outcome of Virmire. Newcomers please SAVE your game.
[spoiler alert]
I messed up and Wrex, Kirrahe AND my romance partner DIED! so yeah had to go back and my last save before Virmire was 2nd mission of the three you get when first leaving Citadel. If you don’t think that’s bad enough, I started doing my side quests after those three.
😂 I've learned that lesson too many times. I got a bunch of saves now. That's really bad. I also do all the side quests before the main. So I know that was a gut punch 😢
Helped a bunch. You forgot the AFK nightclub dance infinite XP glitch though jk
Glad it helped. They must've patched it lol now it's to enjoy the show
He killed death eleven times. With a name like that I had to watch the video.
Thank you for noticing. It wasn't easy lol. Oh and I hope the video was informative. Had to kill 11 times to gain this knowledge
when you upgrade do players on the bench (guys you don't use) get the upgrade points too?
Yes, unless it specifically says so. Like I believe theres one for an omni tool that says it's for mordin
@@deathkillerx1172 i meant when you are awarded upgrade points do companions you don't use still get them or not? I believe they do now it just didn't seem as obvious as it was in me1 since you just get 2 points per mission and it's not based on xp per kill.
@@pdraggy yes they do. And if you ever get them in your party you'll have to distribute the points how you want. Unless you have auto level on
It would be nice to see if you can actually do Legion and Tali’s missions without the crew dying. I’ve heard that as well but haven’t had time to get that far with my work schedule.
I will test tonight and find out for sure
@@deathkillerx1172 Awesome! I appreciate you putting in the time to test this out and confirm it one way or the other. You’ve earned a sub from me, for sure.
@@blackhat4206 after getting the iff you can do 2 missions before the crew gets kidnapped. After they do you have to immediately go or they start dying. So you can save legions and Talis loyalty mission after getting reaper iff
@@blackhat4206 have the video of all the interesting dialogue of bring Legion to Tali's loyalty mission ruclips.net/video/67ItYMsqjUs/видео.html
If you do any missions after IFF they will die, but if the missions are loyalty missions, you can do two and no one dies.
This is awesome thank you
Of course hope it helped
Fun fact: the delivery system can be exploited via save reload to get different resource amounts and 1 of 4 upgrades.
Did not know about that. Thought it was a fixed item. Thanks for the info!
@@deathkillerx1172 yeah I was curious also but it still works just be sure to save before checkin the deliveries. Getting the max 160k resource drop for the 4 resources it quite rare. Couldn't find any percentages online.
@@ShoddyLegion I've went and collected at least 10 different times and only got the high resource once. So without save and reload seems to be rather rare. Or I just didn't have any RNG luck 😂
@@deathkillerx1172 i didn't like 70ish times and only got it once.
Very good video
Thank you
Thane is not suitable for the tech expert. Your choices are: Legion, Tali, or Kasumi.
I swear on my life on the original me2 I used thane and he lived but I've been replaying this one part on every difficulty and every character combo and he always dies 😭
Yes I Would like For you To do a video where You play Legions loyalty Mission and Then Talis loyalty Mission
Ok no problem
I should have it posted tomorrow. I'll let you know
Okay Thank you
@@ronharrington6583 okay have it posted now ruclips.net/video/67ItYMsqjUs/видео.html
@@ronharrington6583 or were you wanting the whole missions?
Yes I Would like To See That
See what? Please explain
@@deathkillerx1172 I would like To See you make a Video about The Quarian Tali
@@ronharrington6583 are you talling about taking legion to tali loyalty mission?
1.5 speed. You're welcome.
You talking about speeding up the video? I got timestamps if a certain topic doesn't pertain to you so you could skip.
I have played this game so many times with no bugs. Just got the legendary edition and now I cant interact with people, items or enemies. Fking lame.
May have to uninstall and reinstall. I didn't encounter that bug at all playing through. And I played all the way through before the first patch so maybe it's something they messed up 😂
@@deathkillerx1172 Did reinstall 3 times.
@@Hellfurian1972 that really sucks then. Maybe deleting your save? Maybe it got corrupted somehow and that's what's causing the bug. But I don't know for sure
Dude quit lyin, you need 50k platinum just to upgrade the med bay and you get that EARLY (right after Omega) that's by FAR the most expensive I've seen so far (my first time and only halfway through) but yeah most are like 15k iridium but no WAY are there only 2 of these (to make 30k). I might say skip the med bay just do what he says... but 30k is NOT enough for the whole game WTF??
It may have updated since then. I played the game on release day and beat it soon afterwards.
I remember I got a mil in credits when importing your me1 character and they updated to where it's only 100k. So this might've been one of those things.
@@deathkillerx1172 yeah almost done recruiting (need like tali and a few others) did half a dozen loyalty 3 main quests and 3 anomalies and still no clue why i dropped 50k on the med bay upgrade lol so dumb.
@@pdraggy 😂 you'll have to probe all the element zero planets and maybe do the shadow broker dlc grind to get that EZO
@@deathkillerx1172 definitely tell me about it lol i kept doing advanced training till i finally realized it replaced the ability not added one each time :\
Man, that’s lame with the credit update :( I was maxed out….guess your character gives it all to charity lol
Well shepard did technically die. So maybe the funds where up in the air 😂 or liara gave to Cerberus to help fund the resurrection project
How did you get a mil in credits? I only got 200,000 when i imported my character.
Before one of the first updates 1 mil would transfer over but since then only 100k or so will
@@deathkillerx1172 I hit the credit cap in me1.....imported that character in me2 and it started me with 170k or so.
@@lordjohnny2026 sounds about right. I think they figured out 1 mil was more than enough to cover all expenses in the game and wanted people to work for it
Bonus for importing ME1 and ME2 playthroughs are merely 100k and 200k respectively. How did it reach 1M. I smell mods.
No mods. That was the way it was before the first update to the game. I beat the whole trilogy before it got patched. Because with the 1 mil you could almost buy everything in the game without needing any extra credits.
An older comment also explains it 😂 I do all games I play without mods
Can you romance multiple people in me2. I can't choose between miranda jack and tali😂
No. Once you pick one the others will be locked out. Without no much of a spoiler, Tali is a sweetheart relationship. Miranda you go to the part of her that she hid away. And Jack you break the hard outer shell.
@@deathkillerx1172 what happens if you romance kelly chambers. She seems nice but ofcourse not much story driven so I don't want to go down that road costing me to lose out on a story driven romance. I've heard romancing tali in me2 is the only way to romance her in me3.
@@cornevandermerwe2902 you can get with Kelly and have a scene but it won't effect an actual romance option. I don't think you can romance Kelly in me3 anyways. And yes Tali can only be romance in 3 if you did it in 2.
@@cornevandermerwe2902 I could be wrong about Tali in 3 but I could never get that option to come up for a chance and I haven't seen anyone do it either
@@deathkillerx1172 such tough choices man damn😂
