Azolla culture should be made a top priority among agrarian communities specially in Integrated farm set up. Let alone the end products like lipids, proteins and amino acid we are in a era where agriculture should be made free off chemical usage as much as possible, in a country like India where Azolla is directly used as feed for fish in aquaculture, feed for cattle, Nitrogen fixation is very useful in rice cultivation and azolla having high biomass be used in Bio-Gas production and feed in poultry the list goes on and on. But there is very limited people to create awareness among marginalized farmers who pump a lot of resources on chemicals. That's a sad story
