Just use a cement mixing tubs, spray paint off, White paint, wait two hours, spray paint again, let dry for 4 days, add water, and I do use the 5 - 15 gallon size aquarium water filters, at Walmart, make a tiny float in front of water fall, as Duck weed don't want any splashing sensytation, so make a floating tiny arm to keep, duck weed out of filter splashing water, fall. No filters in filter, unless charcoal, no fish, no snails, if you want to eat it raw, I eat daily

Use a 100 watt Clear glass Yellow filiment L. E. D. Bulbs, are $4.80 each, at Walmart grow anything else with, a Natural Daylight Bulbs, old lamp fixtures, use pie pan for cheap reflectors

High density gardening in a small space for cheap. I'd say a success. Instead of purchasing nutrients you could use organic materials. For example figs raise ph and lemons will lower ph. Used as a tea with a bioculture even bird guano, worm casting, or even dead leaves would probably do. Anyway great job at a sustainable winter food source for critters.

Human urine from a healthy person in the right ratio to water, is quite good for plant growth. Since I plan to ingest it myself, I wouldn't want to use things like bird guano. Besides, my urine is free and constantly in supply.

Duckweed and azolla are two very different plants, duckweed grows way faster than azolla. And yes you can feed duckweed to your cows its a great source of nutrition.
