seeing messi finally win the world cup is a feeling i will never get over, to see him criticised all his career for not winning nothing to Argentina, being called a failure and a pecho frio to lifting it at 35 at his last world cup, to finally accomplishing the thing he dreamt most in his career
I remember watching that live on TV, and my brother and I were elated. His favorite team has always been FC Barcelona, so seeing Messi win was awesome for us.

@@username.exenotfound2943 don't wanna be disrespectful but did you watch football before covid? The Argentina squad in 2014 and the Croatia squad in 2018 were nowhere near as good as the Portugal team in 2022 and maybe even 2018. Yet Modric and Messi both carried to finals. Its a poor excuse to blame someone's country.
True, it's also something that some would call a curse, but at least it's our curse, our blessing, and NOBODY, can take that away from you, if somebody say's to you that you are less then what you know or what they know that you are, don't let them bring you down, the only ones that can dictate how good, worthy, brilhant you trully are, is you, and the ones that you know that care for you, be your parents, friends, wife, husband.
That's the really cool thing about whiplash. It can be interpreted very differently depending on how you look at it. Either you see Neiman becoming one of the greats through blood, sweat, and tears or you see him as a drumming addict who has cut off everyone from his life for the validation of Fletcher. Neither one of the interpretations are wrong, it's just a true testament to how good the movie is in its ability to present two sides.
@willb.5225Not trying to take away from your point, because it is a good one, but the director of whiplash said that in his mind he sees Neiman making it to his 30’s before he commits suicide via drug overdose
@@HolyBruh123 (WHIPLASH SPOILERS) The idea is that Andrew’s pure love for drumming (drumming since he was a kid) is corrupted since he sacrifices his loved ones and his own health for greatness. He’s rude and condescending in his family dinner (well who wouldn’t be when feeling insulted) he gives no room in his life for his girlfriend, after a car crash that leaves him injured he goes to a music competition instead of the hospital, not to mention they show him playing until he bleeds multiple times even during practice (albeit an unusual one). He already gave up drumming and could have lived a less stressful life if Fletcher didn’t come back to reel him in again out of chance. And don’t forget what happened to the only other student we hear that Fletcher praises (he takes his own life).
