I'm glad you find it helpful. Even with computer programs to calculate, it is best to know how to do it.

Videos are very helpful. I have subscribed and keep going back and learning more each time. I can't seem to find the weaving project form that you mention to make a copy. I don't see any link.

Hi Dolores, can you tell me at 4:27, you divided the total warp length of the scarf (+ease and waste) at 102inch by 36inch. Where does the 36inch comes from? Should I apply this number to all my projects? I can’t figure this out. Many thanks in advance. Katy

This has been very informative. Would you discuss how to import a draft from another website to iweaveit? I am having trouble importing wif files to iCloud and then to this app.

I am getting an 8 shaft Schacht Standard loom. It is in excellent condition and has most everything needed, including a bench. And the price was good. Betty

Hello Delores. Thank you for this information. I'm just learning to weave and your videos are inspiring. I am wondering if the calculation sheet you mention in the video is available on your blog site? I would appreciate the link. Thanks so much!

Hello Dolores you are awesome for teaching. I have a question in regards to the open area to put the shuttle. I do not have a large enough are for the shuttle. When I pull the beater bar it has has the working area for the shuttle I wish I had on the shuttle are. What am I doing wrong? I have a union loom. Thank you

HI Debera, I wish I could give you a simple answer to getting a better shed (open area to put the shuttle) but there could be several things causing this. I have never used a Union Loom, but most looms work the same. A few things to look at to get a better shed are: adjusting the harnesses so they open more. Move the fell (where the last weft was beaten) closer to the front beam. The farther the fell is away from you, the tighter your shed will become. Reduce the tension on the warp. New weavers tend to have the warp too tight. Try loosening it a little.
      Hope that helps..

Great tutorial videos! Just put my Harrisville 36" 4 shaft loom together. I am searching for the download for warp and weft calculations mentioned in the part 4 video. Are these still available? Thank you so much for the wonderful education. As a new weaver, your directions are easily understood.
