Hey! Great content. I binged your last 3 videos last night. I am not a gamer, or reader of the witcher series, but I will say I LOVE the show. I won't lie that it was very confusing about the multiple timelines etc. But if you're paying attention you catch onto it around episode 4-5 when you figure out that Yennefers age doesn't change, and she says she has lived 3 lifetimes now. Also, they show Cintra burning and the queen dying, then she's alive in the Witchers scenes. So that right there is a clear indication there are multiple timelines going on as well. Regardless, thank you for making this content, and I have subbed!
My wife has asked me 800 questions about the timelines. We are def planning on making a video that covers what occurs when. It was a weird choice, hopefully they clean that up in season 2 because people seem to hate it lol
What I cant think about is that Duny was at least 15, 20 years older than Pavetta. Pavetta was 15 years old and Duny at least 30 at the time of the suitors party. Ew.
I wonder if Netflix gonna bring or adapts the past stuffs like "Sword of Destiny" & Ciri's "Holiday in Skellige" via flashbacks or some changes within these stories.
Am really loving these Witcher explained videos. I already know some of the content, but there is also plenty that I am learning for the first time. Major kudos & Thanks. As for the show, I am actually pleasantly surprised by it. Wasn't expecting much but am really liking it. Henry Cavil nails Geralt.
i don't know how IRL you can be when you are a fictional character but yeah it depends on whether you are talking about the book, the stories, the games or the series. At the end of the netlflix series about 12, at the end of the book series - Somewhere around 16 (but the author contradicts himself several times, so we don't know) at the end of games ~20 something.

Next season looking like a Kaer Morhen reveal with a hungry fan base and a big budget. Witcher School is coming and class is in session.
Ciri is quite an intriguing character.
Bro i just saw you in Bruce Lee infographics show
we must have very similar tastes my cultured friend, I see you in every comment section lmao
u rly are everywhere, hope u are good with health xd and not 24/7 on internet
This explains why, Nilfgard wants her so bad, she’s literally apart of the royal bloodline.
They want her for her power and for her connection to the emperor of Nilfgard
Why didnt Pavetta and Dunny just have a second child?
Isn't the old saying for royal births: "an heir and a spare" ?
If Geralt's mom didn't leave him at the doorstep of his master, well, we wouldn't be having this conversation.
they died
Because Pavetta died because of Duny
@@therra1101 Only one of them did
@@pennybleta2300 haha you a re right :-D I am getting it all mixed up, it´s been years since I last read it, of course he didn´t die
With Ciri's power, I thought she would become a powerful sorceress
Wait for the season 3
No with her power she’s a op ass swordswoman freezing time and teleporting from each and every enemy slicing em
She becomes more then that play the game learn life

She's beautiful and those opaque tint contacts just make her even more scary/unique.
So basically the law of surprise was invoked twice on Ciri, lamoooo Geralt can't catch a break.
Thank you I really enjoyed the in depth back story of the character.... Great video content & I hit the like 👍🏼😃
Key ty so much for the character breakdown i was so confused with the story line👏👏👏👏👏👏

Super common in medieval times, hell even in current third world countries.
not as bad as 8 year old brides being taken in the middle east at this very moment.
@@nitemarestlk what do you mean third world countries??
It's common in America as well
Back then, for women, it was “ u bleed, take seeds”.
@@kane3j336 sad but it was that way

Ciri is the Daugther of Dunny now the King of Nilfgard
Was her fater not dead on the ship along with her mother?
@@nawafonlyo6500 No he killed pavetta and went back to reclaim his birthright.
I was wondering who the swallow represented in the metal seal seen in the witcher show, now I know thanks to this video.
Can't wait for season 2 ciris mom was cute lol
I hate to tell you that but... Pavetta is long gone mate. Ciri never really got to know her, she died when Ciri was still a toddler.
@@kokroucz oh I know I'm just saying the actress was cute

Thanks, we've been reading the books to prepared for weeks trying to make sure we are accurate as possible.
I wish that there was a twist in the story and i expect that ciri is the daughter of geralt and yen….
How may people’s Apple devices have gone off during this series?
Great video! Really loved the show
Thanks 4 explaining it. Enjoy the video.
So why does ciri have white hair? Did she undergo the same mutations that geralt did after the trial of grasses?
I thought you will explain family of ciri
wait i don't get it , in the witcher game why Nilgardian lord is ciri father? , ciri father is the one get cursed right? i am so confused
Duny is Emphyr the Emperor of Nilfgard
So he didn’t die in a shipwreck?
@@jasonhenry8067 No he didn't.
Dope video.
Do a update of this video because Ciri looks identical to that evil witch who is trying to give yennifer her powers back
Ciri seems to be the queen of time like a timelord but a woman
I’m now more confused 🤷♀️
Hey ciri set a timer for 10 minutes
So paveta is the mother of ciri?
was that not obvious? jeez
This is a great series. Screw the racist fanboys/fangirls. The cast are excellent, especially Yen, and looking forward to series 2.
So the opinions that differs from you are racist now
Haha, that funny.. people need to look beyond that seriously
the cast perfomance is excellent.. but lore wise its fucked up...
Mr Donut Pretty sure the actress of Ciri is of Polish descent.
@@OG1Donut There already is a polish series of the witcher with an all polish cast, just go watch that one
Is ciri a Witcher?

I made a video about Ciri, would appreciate if you checked it out! ❤️
I never liked queen calanthe in the show. Arrogant, breaking the law of surprise. That is not a strong female charakter
I didn't liked the actress playing cirri . Hope she will be changed after few seasons. She isn't what I pictured in my mind.
Also Yen and triss
Blake Lively for adult Ciri
nah
the Actress playing Ciri is old enough, she's 18 now.. Ciri in witcher 3 is only 21, and witcher 3 is set after the books
Ciri is the weakest of the all three major plots. To me. I pretty much skpped her part the second time I binged watched the show.
And yet Cirri is the main focus and the most powerful weapon in this series.
Show sucked a lot of actors seemed out of place
Chris Mc how so? I thought they nailed the acting in this one.
Those who are easily entertained would think that .
Chris Mc well, it is entertainment, so. Sorry you didn’t connect.
Exactly 😏
Witcher 3 is my favorite game of all time and it pains me to say that the show is, to me, unwatchable.
MitchellberryPie 🙄
MitchellberryPie based on the books not the game..
Its good show tbh give it a chance
The show have potential, but all this "diversity", well, kill a lot the inmersion.
