Just an idea, that trans blue Jackson would probably be a whole lot better if you removed that dud single coil and add a sustainer. I think that added upgrade will put it over the top.
i love your technician with the splatter . have you ever tried to splatter with a brush you can have a little control over the pattern . i find tapping the brush on a dowel will give great results but i have never done this on a guitar great ideal . on the alien blood one i noticed the crackle effect that was a great touch on that one . love the channel. one more thing i wanted to add your playing is really great to just wanted to add that thanks again
I like that. It turns out the screws wouldn’t even go far enough in for that! This model is a weird one, I’ve found out the strings load in through the back of the Allen screws and there are no blocks. It a version of the speed loader floyd from GHS i think.
I would like to see you try laying down a thick liquid layer of paint around the top/back sides (edge) and then blow it towards the center making an inverse drip pattern. That'd be sweet! Especially on something like black over green!
Great episode and great creative guitars...I like that shade of orange,. the splatter is cool, not sure about the runs though. But great idea for a series. Wish you all the best with it.
Ok I wasnt sure about the Hackson.. and orange/red.. Not my taste in colors but the splatters really helped.. It looks killer bro.. Great job. Keep the vid's coming
Very interesting. I have a broken down kerry king v with tribal that I want to strip and refinish, so this has been a great watch. I am not looking forward at trying to reshape the W headstock. My initial thought was to dremmel tool out the tribal so it has a 3d effect and repaint, but after stripping out the electrics some of the body is very thin.
Most of people splater it using tooth brush maybe u can try it next time. N always try anything on whatever before trying it on guitar. I notice u always jump n go ahead without trying. Keep it up. Love the series
Been a fan and subscriber for about half a year now and I love this new series! Your EVH builds are top notch and your knowledge and work quality are professional to a freakin T! I love and thank you so much for this new series its so inspiring and informative, I look forward to every video now! ..... but Im just gonna say it, the LEDs are too much and kill the "want" I have from most of your finished products lol. Maybe thats just me, Im sorry hahah. I still love it.
Loving your channel. I have a question for you, what is the purpose/ use for the killswitch on the guitar ? New to the guitar rehab game so this is a very informative channel. The Orange Jackson reminded me of a strat body that I did a similar thing to when I was a teenager. Never got past the paint stage though.
It depends on what kind of finish we’re talking tbh - gloss vs relic, # of colors etc. email me, if you want me to do stuff consistently I’d be happy to work together and give you a deal. 👍🏼👍🏼 Mark@guitarguts.com
Looks good....can't say anything negative about what your doing as I was doing it myself for many many years .lol....n brother I know your pain of having that many n needing too part with some...it's almost harder to decide what to part with then it is getting what it's worth.....anyways big respect to ya guys..keep rocking....p.s. one question if it's not being rude...n trust me I don't mean it that way all....but I keep hearing you reference " building ". Guitars and I've seen only minor mods at best....certainly nothing even close to " building" a guitar....is that just because we haven't seen it yet n your gonna show actual builds down the road or are you intentionally referring too a mod as a "guitar build "??....either way it's all cool man not trying to come off Like a bustah....just wondering if I build em why we aren't seeing em....I wasn't sure if it was because by design your showis a mod show so to speak...either way...love to see more your work guy...n if you have builds floating a Round in sure I'm not the only one like too see em is all..peace n respect
This is the coolest series on RUclips. Being a guitarist and a woodworker myself, this hits home. You got talents dude keep it up.
Dude, thanks Matt! Please help me promote it, share it on your social media and let your friends know! Thanks for watching brotha!!
Your not wrong this series is super cool as long as you keep at it man and don’t give up on it. It will be super big I’m sure of it 🤟🤟
Just an idea, that trans blue Jackson would probably be a whole lot better if you removed that dud single coil and add a sustainer. I think that added upgrade will put it over the top.
that would be sick as hell. but that would also require a ton of routing for the sustainiac. those things have a huge board.
i love your technician with the splatter . have you ever tried to splatter with a brush you can have a little control over the pattern . i find tapping the brush on a dowel will give great results but i have never done this on a guitar great ideal . on the alien blood one i noticed the crackle effect that was a great touch on that one . love the channel. one more thing i wanted to add your playing is really great to just wanted to add that thanks again
I cringed when the paint ran. Lol. Keep up the good work! 🤘
Same.
I swear to god, this is like my new fav show on youtube
THAT BLOOD JACKSON!! I wasn't expecting that finish tho. beautiful
Use a tooth brush flick on the headstocks! It creates a smaller scale pattern that you can easily control!
That hackson actually looks pretty dope. It makes it unique.
You could paint a matching rechargeable battery
If I lose a trem block, I'll usually just put the ball and where the block was and tighten the screw into the ball.
I like that. It turns out the screws wouldn’t even go far enough in for that! This model is a weird one, I’ve found out the strings load in through the back of the Allen screws and there are no blocks. It a version of the speed loader floyd from GHS i think.
@@GuitarGuts ooooh it's one of those!
Anddddd it looks like I've found one of my new favorite channels👍🤘Beautiful work brotha!

splatter finishes makes every guitar looks sick, doesn't matter what color is for splatter 🤩!
Great episode and great creative guitars...I like that shade of orange,. the splatter is cool, not sure about the runs though. But great idea for a series. Wish you all the best with it.
Keep doing you .. the paint job makes the Hackson look great.
nice! - I finished my neon yellow/black splatter hackmachine this summer before seeing this guy - neon splatter is the way!
oh man...I love the Jackson upside down head stock
looks amazing man! keep it up i love the content
Ok I wasnt sure about the Hackson.. and orange/red.. Not my taste in colors but the splatters really helped.. It looks killer bro.. Great job. Keep the vid's coming
Smart designs on the electronics
Love the Jackson PS4s. The black one was my first guitar. That Jackson mod reminds of Farnell guitars, remember them?
Whoa!! Killer looking guitar...🔥🎸🔥
Amazing series! Keep it going!
The blood shadow Jackson looks amazing. 🔥🔥🔥🤘🏼
thank you so much Peter!!!!!
@@GuitarGuts 🤘🏼
Great show!!! Impressive skills and vision 🙌🔥
I like the concept, keep up the good work.
Thank you!! 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
Awesome work as usual. Your logo is brilliant. Hopin to buy one of your pieces some day. Really excited to see what else you can do.
It kind of looks like a BC Rich Eagle.
Dude you are so talented

I'm a sucker for LEDs, but the killswitch is not something I would want.
Love it dude!
More like predators blood, love the work man, awesome channel
I love that alien green splatter is it for sale?
It has sold but email me mark@guitarguts.com and I can make you something similar.
I love these videos
you should have sanded back of headstock
What if you cut off both horns...?
love the paint job, but the missing horn just doesnt do it for me.
Can you do something with mine the top pick up doesnt work and its a shecter

It would be a fun effect to cut off/on again! Also if you have a noisy rig you could just tap it immediately after playing?
Where did you get the Hetfield shirt? I really want one
I actually made it, but I don’t sell them because of copyright reasons. If you really want one email me, my emails in the description above.
How much would you charge a refinish for? I mod a lot, but my paint jobs are always subpar.
Great video by the way! Glad you started this series
