Great vid. Got one of these grills bc of your vids. What should I turn the rear burner to when rotissing chicken? Should I leave it on high for a while before turning it down? I have the LTE. Thanks!
Ah ha... My favorite question, when it comes to our rotisserie burner. I leave it on high. That burner gets to over 1000 degrees. On the l ow setting, there may be a difference of 30 to 50 degrees. However, when you're cooking at 1000 degrees+, does a 30 degree difference in temp really matter?? I'd say no. Plus, it's a ceramic burner which tends to take a while to cool down, anyway. Ceramic is really good at holding heat. There ya go. Probably more info than you needed.... or wanted : ) Just FYI, when I rotis a whole chicken (4.5 - 5 BLS), it'll usually take about 1 1/2 - 2 hours. Thanks for buying Blaze. Drop me a message anytime....
@@jaysonzhang9270 I plan on it. We have a pizza oven coming out with an included, vertical, rotisserie kit. It will be perfect for shawarma. Can't wait to get my hands on it. Can you believe I have to wait? LOL.
In most cases, probably. Depends on how big they are. The rotisserie motor is rated for 15 lbs, max. I’d say the average chicken is 4 to 5 lbs. In that case, no problem.
Thanks for this video, Can't wait to try it out.
@@Madraukus thanks for taking the time to comment. I appreciate it. Happy grilling….
Very helpful for using the rear burner. Thank you.
