- Welcome! Today I’m giving you a taste of my adventures spinning wool in historic Philadelphia, PA. I spent week 3 of Tour de Fleece taking my drop spindle to different historic sites and spinning wool at those locations. In this video I show you pictures and videos of me spinning wool on my drop spindle in and around Philadelphia. There will be more spinning videos to come, but I wanted to give you the highlights of my spinning adventures in Philadelphia.
This video features @AdventureAquarium, Betsy Ross’s House, Independence Hall, and the Liberty Bell, just to name a few.

This was so cool! Love how you put video and photo clips together for a smooth, interesting, and pleasant viewing experience. We'll done! Loved the aquarium parts the most.
@@FairilyFiberFun thank you so much! I’ve gotten the most compliments on the aquarium, so I think that will be my first longer video from the trip. There are a lot of clips I didn’t use that would be cool to see.
Glad you had a good time in Philadelphia. We have been sweltering here all summer! If you are interested, there is a book called No Idle Hands: a Social History of American Knitting. It has some interesting information on spinning, weaving, and knitting during the Revolution. Available on Kindle also! Come back soon!
@@mthespinner Thank you, I would love to read that!
