+Im a Fox i discovered him in one of the most craziest ways, (okay it's not that crazy but for me it's an interesting way of hearing his music) it was when i used to collect now albums (i stopped when generic pop started to flood the CDs) and at the time i was fearing the world ending in 2012, people always treated me like i was mental for not embracing what i thought was going to be the end of my life, for some it was just a dumb thing to party about but for me it was scientists and historians telling me my life had been cut short...not what you need during a college course that you've joined to improve your future, so i used to get really stressed out and panic on a regular basis. anyway getting back to the now albums i discovered one of his songs on a now album, it was I Remember and it was one of the only tracks that used to calm me down, that and actually doing some research which took me a lot longer than it should have. ever since then i started looking up his songs and finding out about him. the second song i heard was ghosts,N,Stuff and the third one was Strobe. i pretty much started out with some of his best songs and gradually went on to hear all of his stuff. he really is one of few unique artists in his profession
It's older than you might think poachedmag.com/2013/03/19/a-history-of-electronic-dance-music/ America may only just be catching up and subsequently money whoring the shit out of the scene but the American media did not coin the term.
When this song came out it fucking blew my mind. I used to see deadmau5 live every single chance I got. He was fucking special back in the day. Now, he’s just a sell out. But we will always have his early masterpieces. I haven’t heard this song in years and it straight up teleported me back in time. Nostalgia level 10
Deep lyrics about what you believe in, about being a sellout (mountains of gold), about not being able to take it anymore. Just a cry for help with "can you stay up for the weekend?" maybe actually the companion is not needed for just the weekend, that's why he says "till next year". Also looking too old after many sleepless nights, not necessarily partying but having second thoughts. Nostalgic, deep, danceable. Perfect 4 am comedown track
glad hes been taking good care.i understood this song when it came out made him legend till .calvin had heart issues still continued for the sake of music.thats why i respect mos edm producers their heavy with the music and put their soul in it to make people feel
so.... It's summer in Toronto and the other night I went for a late bike ride by the lake. It was a full moon and I was blasting this in my headphones going fast and the lake was literally glowing. It was 10 minutes of ecstasy. Felt like I was in heaven with the wind blowing and no one out on the boardwalk. Amazing song.
Isn't it wild? This song will be on the internet for hundreds of years, and every few moments or days, someone goes through the same feeling we all have. But can you stay up for the weekend til next year? ;)
I was only 19 years old I loved deadmau5 so much, I had all the merchandise and music I pray to deadmau5 every night before bed, thanking him for the sounds I've been given "Deadmau5 is love, deadmau5 is life..." My dad hears me and calls me an electro hippie I know he was just jealous of my devotion for deadmau5 I called him a Kandi Kid. He laughs at me and sends me to go to sleep I'm whining now, and my pride hurts I lay in bed and it's really cold Suddenly, a warmth is moving towards me It's deadmau5 I am so happy He whispers into my ear "LOL U MAD BRO?" He grabs me with his not very powerful skinny hands and gives me a seat from the Purrari I'm ready I spread my ear open, ready for his for music It penetrates my eardrums It hurts so much but I do it for deadmau5 I can feel my skull tearing as my eyes start to water I push against the impedance I want to please deadmau5 He meows a mighty meow as he ruins my hearing My dad walks in Deadmau5 looks him straight in the eyes and says "Dubstep sucks." He leaves through my window Deadmau5 is love, deadmau5 is life.
Goosebumps. Chills at the sound of this beat. I use this song to kick drugs and stay sober. It gives me control of my life when I feel I don’t have it. I sleep with this track on repeat. Right now I’m laying in a “sick room” in a rehab in Miami kicking pain meds. I need this song greatly

***** Yeah man. I remember is very calming. I love that song and The Veldt.
+Im a Fox You dont need money
Instant smile on my face years ago, instant smile on my face now in 2024❤ still one of the best songs I’ve ever heard.
2024 and still!!!!

Dead mouse, Mickey was a psychopathic character best buried
Daily every Friday . And Never win by
I was so into this song in 2011-2012! Crazy...
I think people have forgot that EDM is an umbrella term covering all genres within the realms of Electronic Dance Music....
agreed. many people consider EDM as only really mainstream house
hate to be one of those guys but this is progressive house like most of deadmau5's stuff
But it's still EDM, tis but a sub genre of a genre. It's really not that complicated people...
Yes I agree
It's older than you might think

America may only just be catching up and subsequently money whoring the shit out of the scene but the American media did not coin the term.
Te das cuenta que estas ante una obra maestra cuando un remix sin video tiene mas visitas que la canción original con video
Cierto, que raro
Calvin and Joel 2 legends of EDM!
I always said this would be my break up song. "Can't do this."
Im going through giving random comments likes in an attempt to bring people back to this amazing song
It's working! Keep going, we'll resuscitate it back to #1 on the charts ;)
Your doing gods work my boy.
Just discovered this song
@@Marco-ck4jj better late then never!
i’m doing this to you too! just came back to this song and i’ll never let it go again
Who gives a fuck about classification... just close our eyes and listen... good music is just plain good music... that is all... try to feel it too
I listened to this song every morning as part of my wake up routine
Woah.....serious 2010 nostalgia.
Isn't it wild? This song will be on the internet for hundreds of years, and every few moments or days, someone goes through the same feeling we all have.
But can you stay up for the weekend til next year? ;)
I was only 19 years old
I loved deadmau5 so much, I had all the merchandise and music
I pray to deadmau5 every night before bed, thanking him for the sounds I've been given
"Deadmau5 is love, deadmau5 is life..."
My dad hears me and calls me an electro hippie
I know he was just jealous of my devotion for deadmau5
I called him a Kandi Kid.
He laughs at me and sends me to go to sleep
I'm whining now, and my pride hurts
I lay in bed and it's really cold
Suddenly, a warmth is moving towards me
It's deadmau5
I am so happy
He whispers into my ear "LOL U MAD BRO?"
He grabs me with his not very powerful skinny hands and gives me a seat from the Purrari
I'm ready
I spread my ear open, ready for his for music
It penetrates my eardrums
It hurts so much but I do it for deadmau5
I can feel my skull tearing as my eyes start to water
I push against the impedance
I want to please deadmau5
He meows a mighty meow as he ruins my hearing
My dad walks in
Deadmau5 looks him straight in the eyes and says "Dubstep sucks."
He leaves through my window
Deadmau5 is love, deadmau5 is life.
+Adolfo Velásquez Same bro.
Epic!! 👍👏
lool
Sounds like a fucking porn script
Dubstep.... Are you actually joking right now 😂
2022!!! que clase de temazo 🔥🔥💪
I literally got chills from the nostalgia listening to this.
2021…
Still has it in 2023 killer remix. Simplicity at its best
Definitely my favourite remix of all time, and probably my favourite song of all time. The memories and nostalgia are off the charts.
2020 anthem well ahead of its time

2020s*
wow its 10 years ^^ 2019 still love it
this track gives me hope for life.
Discovered this before Ghost n Stuff, gotta be worth something 🏆
Deadmau5 is legendary!
Miss the times when music videos had VEVO in the bottom corner lol
The reason why Deadmau5 is the father of Edm
Have been bumping the original for years but just found this wow
One of the best remixes ever!
Goosebumps. Chills at the sound of this beat. I use this song to kick drugs and stay sober. It gives me control of my life when I feel I don’t have it. I sleep with this track on repeat. Right now I’m laying in a “sick room” in a rehab in Miami kicking pain meds. I need this song greatly
Hope your still doing well. im 5 months sober so far. Not my first attempt staying sober but hope it's the last...
I hope you made it across and are sober now. I can’t imagine going through what you’ve gone through.
I keep coming back to this since this remix is out ❤️ what a great summer that was. Where did all this time go ?
This song and Wolfgang Gartner's remix of "I Will Be Here" by Tiesto are what made me love dance music
