You, sir, just made my life 1000x easier. I was trying it on my motorcycle with a flat screwdriver and went to the Google to be saved by your video. You are awesome.
This is gold! 100% likes as deserved. This really saved me. An additional trick I did was for the hard to reach springs I used a flexible grabber/pickup tool to reach further in tight areas with the cord as well as to retain a fixed loop/bite on the cord for where I wanted it to wrap the spring. Once the cord was placed around the spring I would remove the grabber tool and pull on the spring with the cord as instructed.
Seems to be the best and easiest fix without buying a tool. Get a shoe lace, and get 'er done. Niiice. I have been considering a push - pull tool, but I'm hoping this will work. Them '13 skidoo's are tight on the right if you don't take the top cowling off. I'll give it a whirl. Thanks a ton, been sledding for over a decade and never heard of the string option. LOVE IT !B
No bullshit intro or excessive rambling just stright to the point, best video on youtube 👍👍
