HOW to MINE VERUS COIN with a (old) PHONE | Crypto Mining

- In this video we will show you how you can mine VERUS Coin with your old phone. If the phone has a 64 bit processor(CPU) and 64 bit OS it is usable to mine VERUS. These are usually phones with Android 7 OS versions or higher. You can just install the app as shown in the video and see if your phone is mineable. When installed a message will show up in the main screen to confirm if your device is mineable or not. It is a simple and fun project because an old phone which is doing nothing is going to make you some VERUS Coin ;). Check out the VERUS website and Discord if you have the time. It is very interesting and they also have a very active community.

Does this mining process heat the phone temperature? It it affects on Phone performance.?
yes, it will increase the temperature of your phone so it is important to have a cooling solution such as a small fan or a cooler used for notebooks or routers to get the best performance.

How to find out if you are minung or jot. I run this for three days and nothing jn the wallet.
You can check the website of the Pool you use. There you can see what you have mined and what you have earned. Sometimes there is a minimum amount you have to mine before you get payed. Otherwise check if you use the right wallet address.

If you go to "more" in the bottom right corner of the Verus miner app you can do a speedtest on the different pools. You can choose the one with the best response time.

@@roboconrad1169 It depends on the pool you use. If you use luck pool you get paid when you reach 0.01 Verus. When you go to earnings on luckpool you can see your payouts. When you go to manage on the Luckpool website you can set the minimum payout. The payouts are made every 20 hours.

if we make factory reset, then the wallet app wouldn't be uninstalled?
After a factory reset all installed apps will be deleted. So it will be gone.

@@grsaris You need a wallet, but it is wise not to have your wallet on the phone you use to mine. You can also go for the Verus desktop wallet.

@@grsaris That's a bit of a bummer. The A13 does indeed have a 32 bit OS and the phone must have a 64 bit OS to mine Verus.
