    INGREDIENTS
    6 cups sifted, all-purpose flour
    10 large eggs, beaten
    1/4 cup (60 mL) ouzo
    vegetable oil for frying
    FOR THE SYRUP:
    1 cup (250 mL) honey
    1/4 cup (60 mL) water
    1/2 cup (80 grams) crushed almonds
    1/2 cup (70 grams) crushed walnuts

    Just one question, is ouzo necessary? Can a non alcoholic ingredient take it's place?
