Children here in The Netherlands are hardwired, pre-programmed to ride bicycles. My son started with a balance bike and rode that for a while. One day with training wheels and the next day and ever since without.
Haha, that roundabout is insane!! I live in Da Nang and am yet to go to Saigon. I love riding my scooter in DN and the surrounding area but we got nothing that’d compare to that roundabout… Hue has a big one centrally, and I also had to take a deep breath the first time I drove into that and encountered “roundabout freestyle”, lol. But yeah, it feels so much friendlier actually riding the scooters than just watching it from outside (where it looks scary as fuck). People watch out for one another, they have to (seeing how crazy some drive lol)
Pretty crazy traffic there - as he says, there is basically no right of way other than whoever hits the gap first. They don't even stop for ambulances and police cars.
Yes, you do need a license to ride in Vietnam. I rented bikes in different locations throughout the country and some did not ask to see a License but others did. It’s best to have a license, because in the event there would be an accident. If you didn’t have a license the insurance may not cover anything. However, if a motorbike is 50 cc, I think you can ride without
ey guys i don't think i will make it alive driving a motorbike there its crazy ass hell to me lols.. i am asian but i was born in America never been out of the USA but one day i do plan to go to Vietnam one day but i am only gonna get rideshares only to take me to places lols!
@@CJHealthyLife thanks I plan to eat authentic Vietnamese street foods like I see on RUclips Lols always gets me drooling lols and yea I was planning to go to that city too what’s it called Hanoi i think lols I’ll just let the locals take me to places like restaurants and sight seeing one day I will visit outside of USA Lols !

Thank you, I enjoyed this. I’ve been on a back of them in Saigon. But not brave enough to venture out on my own. I’ll be there again next week😉
Excellent…just go with what you are comfortable with 😎
Great video! Controlled chaos
I think it's a good idea for newcomers to take a motorbike taxi a few times before they try to drive in Saigon the first time.
yes absolutely. Helps to get a feel for things.

I agree: no road rage because no one feels entitled to their right of way and safer to ride motorbikes in VN than in the US because of the speed
Thank you for the nice comment. Very enjoyable country!!
Are you on drugs?

we stop to watch ambulance stucking in traffic with us. And police, ofc we stop and avoid police, police can fine us.

Yes, you just have to do what you are comfortable with. Once you get there and get adjusted, then you can decide if you want to try or not.
