Great video, it's nice to get a locals' opinion on this route, thanks Thy. Any chance we can have access to this updated map? It looks like there are some "liked" areas around Phan Thiet, would love to check them out :)
Great video from a local lady, she really explains well! I've been researching taking a motorbike trip in VN and will be looking at this company for a tour. Great job.
Great advice! This is a bucket list trip for me. I was researching motorcycle rentals earlier and Tigit was the company I had decided I wanted to use, It's awesome that I stumbled on this video
Have used Tigit both times been on a road trip ... Thy sorted me out in Ho Chi Minh for my trip on a XR150 to Hanoi. She's cool & knows her stuff very well. Highly recommend Tigit all the way.
Great video, thank you. I'm surprised at how little time is needed to travel and enjoy HCM to Hanoi, we're hoping for a month in Vietnam so would be left with a decent amount of time to enjoy and tour the North, initially we were thinking of spending it all in the North.
Thank u Thy! Excellent video! I really appreciate you mentioning things you feel are over rated! A friend and I will be flying into HCMC in February and riding dual sports up to Hanoi/Ca't Ba' taking the Ho Chi Minh Trail. Are there enough gas stations not to have to have extra fuel tanks? Please do more videos like this.....maybe your own RUclips channel! Thanx, Todd ~See you in the jungle!~
Great video Thank you! Does Vietnam allow riders with a car License type: B to drive a bike 175cc Max? And what about an international license a compulsory as well?
We followed the coast line in September 20-October 3 2022, stopped in DaNang and had bikes checked. The trip was awesome! Tigit’s staff are over the top when it comes to helping you out.
Is it possible to bring my Chinese bike inside Vietnam? I am Italian and I am planning to go first in Laos and then from Laos get inside Vietnam and go back to China, but it’s difficult to find informations about go inside Vietnam with a China registered motorcycle 😢
hello Thy, I am thinking about buying the XR150 but I'm concerned my wife (vietnamese) won't be able to learn to drive the XR because it's too tall. I saw you in the video driving it without a problem. has it been lowered for you? I appreciate your response
Hi there, I’m Thy. The bikes i drove in the video were not lowered. I’m 1m58 and on an XR i reach with the tip of my toe and on crf150 i also tip toe but i have to slide left and right 😂 Your wife can drive the XR no problem if she wants to practise.
If you are riding Vietnam trying to avoid police then you have the wrong idea. The police are fine here. Follow this video for route ruclips.net/video/CmY6rbyN2Yo/видео.html

Hey nice vid! did you use to work at triple8 motorbikes in Hanoi?
Great video, thank you. I'm surprised at how little time is needed to travel and enjoy HCM to Hanoi, we're hoping for a month in Vietnam so would be left with a decent amount of time to enjoy and tour the North, initially we were thinking of spending it all in the North.
Any loop in the North will take you around 6 days so a month will be enough to do hcm-hanoi and then the north :)
very helpful thank you!
I wish you would add checkpoints for each day:)))

@@thynguyen374 Thanx Thy!
What about places to spend the night/accommodations? Thanx
Loads of accommodation in Vietnam. Does not need much planning.
Hi , thank you for great information, I'm planning 2 weeks in Vietnam but by car , any chance you can recommend rental companies? Many thanks
Thank you 😊
Would it be possible to ride feom hcmc to hanoi using interesting roads with some off road in under 2 weeks?
not really no, two weeks is for road only
I plan on renting from you guys in Feb and I was wondering if you guys had printed laminated maps with details and road options. Thank you.
We give a paper map, but you can't navigate off it. You are best off downloading the maps onto the phone, which I explain in a different video.
