I live on lake London... I had no idea I was this close to y'all, when I buy another alt can I just come pick one out 🤣
Sure enough! I can even deliver it to you since I live in Lenoir City. First alternator company to have a GRUB HUB service! :)
90 Amp Alternator still going okay. Might be time for a up-grade.
I have a 250 amp on my 08 honda crv..2+ years no issue.
Ahhhh, you're one of those crazy people that installs stuff correctly??!?!?! Good to meet you!! :)
It would be nice to get a 240 or 270 alternator for my '98 Sonoma 4.3l from you guys. Maybe one day. Anyways very nice product. 👍🏼
Got one here at my desk. Came off my R&D truck. Has a few marks on the case from on/off/on/off typical R&D work. P# 8206240 Plug and play with a 1/2" smaller belt. :)
@mechmanalternators ya it would be nice but can't afford it right now.

anything for high reving japanese engine's? i have a toyota 4 cylinder that lives around 8000 and sees upto 9500, i have electronic water pump, power steering, air conditioning, i can draw alot at full tilt as is and the rpm kills factory ones and they don't supply enough power to run everything
Probably need to use something in our Universal section and just do a simple bracket to put it where you can get it. Usually our P# 7127170, 240 or 320 works great in racing applications.
What if I need 400ish amps but regularly run my truck over 6k rpm?
We'll just put a bigger pulley on it which will usually rob about 20-30 amps at vehicle idle RPM's.
@@mechmanalternators 20-30 should be a problem at stock idle rpm
@@soggybottomboys2792 It all comes down to pulley ratio. I made a quick calculator on my computer so I basically just plug in your crank pulley diameter, your alternator pulley diameter, vehicle idle RPM's and your MAX RPM's. It's mainly used for the Supra/Drift guys....or race car guys.
