- Video of me clearing Azure Moon Chapter 22 on Maddening/Classic with only Flayn attacking. Her level and all her stats have been capped, and all of her classes have been mastered. None of this was done by hacking.

Because people keep asking certain questions, here's an FAQ:
1. What difficulty is this, and was this NG+ or no?
This was Maddening/Classic, and yes, NG+ was used. If you notice, Flayn's caps are all +5 above what they are normally, which is only possible with NG+.
2. But if it's Maddening, how did you get so much EXP? Aren't battles limited?
During most months you have 9-12 opportunities to go to battle, assuming you do one Monastery day. With around 14 available months to level Flayn and an average one guaranteed level per map (though many more at lower levels), that's plenty opportunity for grinding.
3. How did you get Flayn to level 99? How long did it take?
I used up all her white magic in a map (including all uses of heal), which with the EXP gem guarantees at least one level up until the 90s range. This is best done on maps with demonic beasts, since Flayn will be able to use restore, and the enemy has infinite attack uses and can be easily manipulated. Also done with Flayn in the Bishop, then Gremory class for double White Magic uses. My save file says about 60 hours, which in actuality was something like a week.
4. Why is Dimitri only level 4?
Seeing as this run was only done with Flayn and Byleth, I never used Dimitri, so he never gained EXP. Apparently on Normal Mode Lords get autoleveled to level 20 after timeskip, but since I was playing Maddening he only gained three levels.
5. Why did you do this?
Because I wholeheartedly love Flayn and I want to share how amazing she is, and my dedication to her! ❤️

Mad respect. I never got my Lysithea to lv 99 but I maxed all her stats on a normal run of Golden Deer. By the last chapter I solo'd the last boss & his crew of warriors. I went full Sword on Lysithea with Sword avoid 20 (from dancer) & weight -5 from armored class (so she could be a sword master that could use Levin sword with no speed or avoid loss from weight penalty). I never liked Mortal Savant on her so I preffed Swordmaster. Once the dlc dropped I made her a War Cleric though. Also would make her trickster if I was in a sword mood.

Edelgard threatened to ban fishing so Flayn knew she had to act.
Edelgard can’t swim, and fears the ocean. She’s obviously Flayn’s natural enemy.

This means this guy went through chasing daybreak on maddening without dimitri (also has to protect him from combat). Flayn didnt even appear in that segment, I can't imagine holy shit

Watching Flayn destroy is so much fun! I’ve played quite a few runs but I never realized how much I loved Flayn until I actually used her in one of my silver snow runs and now she is definitely one of my best girls 💞💞

This is an amazing video! Nice dedication to your favorite character! I'm surprised by the class choice but you rocked the war cleric, a very underrated class that I've never used before. I was expecting falcon knight Flayn or dark flier Flayn, but this was a pleasantly unexpected surprise.
Also great choice of route. AM is my favorite. I honestly think it feels like the best route for Flayn (beyond obvious choice of SS as well). Mainly because 4 Blue Lions have support with Flayn (Dimitri, Dedue, Felix and Sylvain). All great conversations. Flayn is a wonderful, multi faceted character.

She's a great character. One of the best written in 3H IMO. And also, such a clever role reversal of the overused, typical "younger sister cleric" very stereotypically an archetype cliche within FE.
Flayn is great and I'll admit that it's part of the numerous reasons that I don't like CF as much is because she and Seteth aren't playable xD

@@yourconscience8018 They do tend to cut corners though, not because of cut content, but rather the game running at 30fps, even though it's unnecessary in a game where 99% of the gameplay is menu selections, and how low-quality the graphics are. It's mostly GameCube assets with some from the N64, but the character models look great.

Basics on How to Grind Units:
Exploit Healing Terrain: You can get a psuedo-infinite number of attacks on an enemy if they are standing on healing terrain and the unit cannot die in a single round of combat. Most maps in 3h only have 99 turns (sometimes lower), so Make sure to use all of them for EXP/Weapon EXP grinding.
This is extremly charfraic to watch, I spent so long on the final map that watching flayn just wreck shop is nice to see. This is one of the most challenging maps in the game imo haha

I just beat maddening blue lions without new game plus, my first clean maddening. Lost nobody until the very last enemy phase where Flayn got doubled by monster Edelgard. I didn’t want to reset a map I spent 4 hours playing to get around how woefully unprepared I was.
It was nice to see Flayn destroy everything in this video :). RIP

How many hours have you spent making Flayn so powerful? You did this on Maddening, so it must've taken a while.
I’m gonna say something dumb but how is it possible to stack so much xp in maddening? I did a CF almost solo run and I had my Edelgard at lvl 55 only at the end. Did the player spammed the dance with Flayn?

Faith spells don't have the exp nerf like physical weapons or reason spells on maddening. So OP spammed faith spells (heal, restore, fortify, rescue) on Flayn to get the full exp on every battle. Those spells get 2x uses in bishop and Gremory class for extra uses thus even more exp. Thus healers actually have a great opportunity on maddening to gain a lot of easy levels.

I still havent even used Flayn on one of my playthroughs and I beat it 5 times already. I'll use her here and there, but never one as of my main students, also I dont think I've even gotten a unit over level 50 😂
I did something similar to this but with ingrid. I had made her a gremory and used as many stat boost items on her as i could and ultimately switched to mortal savant for this stage for swordfaire and tomefaire. And also had sword avo+20 from when i made her my dancer plus sword prowess for basically +40 avo with a sword and since i had her magic so high i used levin sword. Granted she wasnt lvl 99 and didnt have maxed stats it was still amazing
How can you reach level 99 if when you're playing maddening mode you have limits at your weekend's battles? Besides when you're in a high level, lower level foes (even maddening is not close to over lvl 70) doesn't give you a decent amount of exp...

@@timopraxis it might have been a Solo Byleth Run until Flayn joined in then it became a duo run. I'm currently doing a duo run with Dimitri and Byleth and he is absolutely slaughtering and I'm only on chapter 6
cool video, but what i dont get is why dimitri is level 4. due to how timeskip works with auto leveling the lords, im curious how you managed that. the leveling thing though, totally get because its flayn.
He's level 4 because I never used him and timeskip will auto level him by 3. The entire run was done using only Flayn and Byleth, except for once in chapter 13 where I had to use Dimitri's gambit to survive.

She gets passive healing with it equipped, which is why I switch to it before enemy phase. Allows me to not need to equip Renewal or take up a turn to heal. As you saw it was incredibly useful fighting Edelgard.

I have a question. How did you give her counterattack? I thought only the DLC Chalice could give a unit counterattack
I gave Dimitri the Indech Sword Fighters battalion and had him cast Retribution on her, which grants counterattack.

Yes, it's Maddening, I specified that in the description. You can see the Sniper's Poison Strike (a Maddening-exclusive enemy skill) activate at 2:25.

please just read the pinned comment and beside check out the autobattle dancer glitch, you can get a lvl 99 unit in 15 minutes probably
