I was sceptical at first but I think I like it more than TTS now, it wasn’t grounded by existing lore so it could do what it wanted which was fresh and funny.
I cannot even identify what the fandom they have transferred to is, but I am already headcannoning that this is still the same Perpetual Emperor, just 40,000 years younger. Yes, I watched the original first, but I wasn't familiar with any of the referrences or such in the description.
Apparently they entered the World of Darkness universe/fandom the same one from the game Vampire: The Masquerade. It's basically a modern world filled with vampires, werewolves, undead, evil spirits and everything that goes bump in the night, add to that some badass human monster hunters and there you go.
More specifically they seem to be taken the role of protagonist from Hunter: The Reckoning/The Vigil where in contrast to say the Vampire or Werewolf games where you play a a dark supernatural creature you are a group of hunters that combat said creatures which has always held more interest to me. No shade on the other games I'm just more of a Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Van Helsing kind of guy than Underworld, Anna Rice... or god forbid twilight (dry heaves.) No you know what? Strike that last one from the record it doesn't deserve to be mentioned in the same breath as those others urgh sparkling vampires not even once!
I just realized that Big D's shorts KINDA look like the shroud or cloth he had on his waist in TTS; just like Kitten's shirt around his waist in the front looks like a Custodes' draped cloth (I don't know the proper name).

Lion El Johnson will be Lionel Jackson and be an antisocial homosexual knight enthusiast. Lorgar will be Logan and a preacher. Helbrecht and Sigismund will be called Herbert and Sig and be the sons of Dorn and Boys older brothers in the army with "Herbert" being a religious extremist and Sig being disgraced for being too violent and extreme.

I don't believe that Kevin was Tzimisce. I think he is a Ventrue. Namely because Kevin doesn't really fit any of the descriptions or culture of the Tzimisce Clan, who are described as being extremely scholarly and entirely entuned with flesh-shaping. They have abandoned the idea of lordship in favor of pondering over what it meant to be Kindred, and have thought about their condition more than any other clan. They are also kind of one trick ponies, since they put their all into the art of Vicissitude, flesh and bone shaping, associating it as a key to the higher mysteries of the vampiric state. Of course, Kevin might be a special case but he fits more with the other two. The Ventrue put a lot of stock into maintaining their dignity and image. So, his outbursts about how much he is above all this situation and at how HE is to go unharmed, let alone even giving a single thought to his allies who he doesn't help at all. The Ventrue are also fanatic users of Dominate, which we see him display. They also assume many leadership roles among kindred because of this, whether that be the person who directs a Coterie, a small gang of Kindred, or a Prince of an entire city.
Time to install bloodlines again. Which mods to play though... Anyways are we in what would be considered the OWod? I have never played the tabletop game and not sure what happened following the conclusion. Sword of Caine is Sabbat I know, kinda helps they mentioned shovel heads. Which Vamps did we see? Brujah, Gangrel and the other two I am less certain of. Was the one a Noferatu and the other either Tremere or Tzimisce? I am less familiar with the other clans like followers of Set and stuff. Wonder if that means Vulkan will be a Malkavian

As a Malk character at some point he walks by a Stop sign that initiates a conversation by saying stop to you in your mind.....then you get into an argument. I always found it amusing, feels like the kinda thing that could kill you. Argue with a stop sign all night and then the sunrise kills you lol

Yeah I think they're still trying to find their feet in the new setting but i think it was a good start and it'll keep me entertained until GW pull their heads out of their asses (although the way things are going that may be some time after the heat death of the universe.)
