Limited Weapons dont exist to me. I had to skip xuluang and hard pity ellen and qingyi, I dont have enough polychromes to even think about weapon banners. 😢
That sucks. They are awesome so far. I'm not F2P but I'm not going apeshit with buying stuff either. Honestly the 1.1 update has already given me like 30-35 free pulls worth of Poly and I'm not done. Have all the Signature W Engines and limited Characters so far.

Take Zhu Yuan as an example, she gets like 80% DMG buff from her core alone! . .. and extra 20% DMG buff on top of that is very little total increase . . . but you also have Swing Jazz on your support . . Zhu Yuan Engine gives like 40% more DMG buff . . now an extra 20% is pebbles in comparison to faster stunning from more charged basics, and 15% DEF shred. M1 is harder to get than Engine . . but better too

I got a copy of Ellen's Weapon when I was just trying to build a little pity towards Zhu Yuans Weapon at like 15 single pulls. But other than that they are all just regular. Almost all of my A Ranks are near maxed on copies. I've also got 3 S Rank Bangboo. I'm sitting Pretty. I'm only missing Rina, Koleda, Nekomata as far as standard banner goes. Currently about 65 Standard pulls away from the Pick an S Rank. Which is hilarious because within 5 Rolls of that I get another S rank so I may just get whoever I don't get with my Guarantee. I lost my first 50/50 on my copy of Qingyi. The good thing is I'll guaranteed get Jane if I decide to get her at like 40 pulls. Honestly I play the game enough and love it. So I'm ok with spending 100 every two months if I'm playing 100 hours a month or more. Also I'm not going to absolutely try to get each Limited it's just kinda worked out that way so far.
i would argue FOR Qingyi M1 . . her M1 gives your dps more enhancement, over the dps own single mindscape. And she can team up with any attacker so the mindscape isn't locked to to the dps. getting a full charge of voltage to start, and charging 30% faster cuts alot down on her field time, and add 15% DEF shred on top. While i picked up Ellen and Zhu Yuan engines, went for Qingyi M1 instead. That 20% DMG on Qingyi engine gets really diluted by all the other DMG% buffs always in play. (engines, swing jazz disks, support buffs, dps core skills) so an additional 20% DMG buff might only result in 5-8% more final damage. For qingyi, I've found she stuns bosses before getting the 2nd voltage charged fully, so having a full charge and gaster charging lets me stun them fast, with full stun DMG%
Why is he just parroting from Mobalytics? A lot of of Western CC's do the same, but parrot from Prydwen. This isn't independent research with math, just a copy and paste. Qingyi also seems to optimize her attack string through the following process, and by connection, damage and daze output by: Dodge/basic 2. => mash basic 3. => wait for the very brief flash at 25% (minimum for enhanced 4 to activate is ~25%, you can maximize the daze and damage by pushing it to 100%) of Flash Connect Voltage (not telegraphed well) while mashing with basic 3. => release basic 3 after the flash to trigger enhanced basic 4. => hold (not tap) EX Special (if you have enough energy). => hold (not tap) basic attack to consume the Flash Connect Voltage through her follow up attack/s (1 with
Steam oven at high refinement actually provides the highest impact from its passive among all 4* but Demara mk2 do more damage. I currently use R4SO. Now, i am waiting to pull for Caesar so that i don't need to keep dodging too much while fighting those crazy brawlers in floor8.
Honestly, I tried both and (maybe its cause ive been using ellen with lycaon for so long but) Lycaon just feels more comfortable to play with ellen, i think youll still deal a bit more damage if you max out the stunned multiplier with Qingyi but I dont really think its worth it + id rather use my Qingyi with someone like Soldier 11 who benefits more from it
If you don't have Lycaon, Qingyi works in that team yes. I'm already running Ellen/Qingyi/either Rina or Soukaku myself and it works well. If you're REPLACING Lycaon that you already have, idk if she's more efficient.

I haaven't tested it much, but i think is better to do a couple of parries in between, I think the monster gets stunned faster that way.

Yes lycaon have ice res shred but qingyi has more amplified damage no ice res shred ice res shred is replaced by that thats why
